Tring now not clearing on VU+ Duo

Hi

Thanks to the info on the forum and the image from Master G (http://linuxsat-support.com/vu…-vu-duo-1-5-1-backup.html) I had tring up and running nicely on the VU+ Duo. Clearing all channels fine.

I went away on holiday last week and came back to find channels not clearing any more (sound but no picture).

The card is a legit Tring +. (04)

I thought it might be a key change with it being the beginning of the month so I put it in a TM1500CI+ and works OK all channels clearing. I left it in the TM for a few hours to see if it needed to update or something and then put it back in the VU+, again sound but no picture.

As far as I know I haven't changed anything, I just left the box on, came back and no picture.

What have I done?

Thanks. Card is about 6 weeks old, bought with a 12mth subscription.

I would prefer to be able to leave it in the VU+ all the time and for it to update from there, so I will look at the two threads you have suggested.

I would be happy to use another image, I ended up with Blackhole because it worked at the time.

Thanks. I can try reloading the config files to see if that changes things, lucky I have a back-up. I'll report back once I have done that.

OK. So couldn't see anything that I had done, so I reflashed a later version of Master G's image. That left me without functioning Tring channels (no signal at all), so I manually scanned them back in, and now everything is working again.
