Care to expand on this romman, the following quote has been well documented around the forums,

My advice would be stay away from this version and users of it, there is no other benefit to using such an old version either.

Yes i will expand lol...i meant if you know what you are doing you can run a stable 2.0.11 server if you look at the cccam config!!!! i disagree 2.0.11 defo runs better but i realise your obviously hot on the trot here sniffing payserver? am i right as you are wrong dude if this is the case.

I run a 2.0.11 ccam server...does this make me a bad guy...(look at my cards) i could easily up at least 1 of those packages and become a payserver!!!! but i aint interested.

Same as i am not interested in cccam 2.0.11 payserver comments ffs whats wrong lolz.

For the moment i am using oscam as card server for 2 conax card and one nds2 S*y ita and for cccam im using 2.1.3 for my peers connected with newcamd protocol to oscam
i have tried olso 2.0.11 as cccam version but i saw that this version crashes more than 2.1.3 .
i have tested them for 1 month with 10-15 peers

I would say your CCcam 2.0.11 version crashed because your CCcam cfg was not setup properly, same with any server really if you dont set it up correctly.

2.0.11 Is defo the most stable version of cccam as server that i have fiddled with but you have to look deeper to get the benefits from it.

Personally i would not recommend CCcam to read cards but as a server it works fine if you read your cards in oscam/newcs etc and send newcamd lines to your CCcam server.

2.0.11 works best for me but you might have to disable emms in the cccam config for N3 packages...well i had too anyway,2.1.3 works well as a server too tho.

As client i recommend 2.1.3 or 2.1.4 but any will work for that purpose.

If you are using the mg_cfg for client use only with no update change this below to A: { 00 } Its not really required its just i prefer to do this but leave it on 01 to update your card.

    # AU
    # 00 disable, no emm pids processed
    # 01 enable, emm pids always processed for soft-au and shared cards
    # 02 auto, emm started only if channel cant be decoded
    # 03 process emm pids for network cards update only
    A: { 01 }

I have no issues with my cyfra+ card updating using Mgcamd 1.35a on a clone dm500, i send the box a CWS line from oscam pc server and in the AU part of user account i put the label name which in my case is cyfra+

However if what you have just done does,nt update your card i can upload my Mg_cfg for you as this is important and wont update your card properly and maybe not at all if its setup wrong!

Nlines are from newcamd servers which are converted to work with the CCcam protocol so doing anything with the mg_cfg should have no bearing on a cccam client mate as thats for a different emu altogether.

I find the vu boxes amongst the easist to setup tbh.Copy a folder to a usb storage pen and bang it in the box.

CCcam cfg goes to Var/etc where you edit in either a Cline or an Nline from server

Newcamd/Mgcamd files are located in Usr/Keys where you need both an Mg_cfg and newcamd.list files. CWS line goes in newcamd.list file from server

hi guys was thinking of getting the *** sports package for to share round the house on my dreamboxs as the line i have is only for one box was wanting some advice i have a motor sat setup with mutli lnb and 3 dreamboxs but only sports downstairs if the *** installer came out would i have to let install a mini dish or could i ask him just to use the sat dish i have i also have no phone line but *** that would not stop me from getting a *** box but would have to pay 25 quid for them to activate the card

Yes the installer will usually be more than happy to install the box if you have a good signal for him to work with as time is money more than ever these days.

Not entirely clear on your setup mind you..is it a quad lnb on a motorised dish you have..either way as long as he beleives the signal is fine and your happy with the installation it should be fine mate.

Ask him to leave the minidish and quad lnb in your posession tho!! as it yours.

£25 to activate the card? thats a new one. i have activated cards from here in spain with a telefone call and l and never had to pay anything to activate the card

The £25.00 charge is because sly supply the equipment and you are wanting an installation with no phone line.

In Spain kemestri you will obviously be using your own equipment so there is no activation charges.

Worthwhile paying the £25.00 charge for the brand new hd box with hdd they will supply anyway tbh.

Thanks Ronman just added the whitelist in. Decided to have whitelist after all.

No problem mate your welcome!! to be perfectly ohnest tho i have have completely scrapped what i was using recently and i am now building my own personal ecm whitelist for the specific package that i have and currently/atm using only 10 ecm legnths for my package at present and a i have full sly/uk/eire...

I will now only add what ecm length i have too if and when i have for instance ppv etc and then remove it!!! Although that ecm whitelist will work that i posted its well worth looking into designing your own.

Ecm whitelists will differ for everyone depending what package and added extras(tiers) you have, and including ecm lengths on reshare cards if you do that is completely pointless too as you will obviously have no controll of this reshared card...

For a start installing a dish on a gable end is not a good idea regardless of the size of the dish....Due to wind problems and the look of the dalm thing..have you considered installing it in the garden somewhere on a cemented pole??? Not sure whether that is plausible tho just a recommendation buddy.

200 year old old house??? is that a listed building mate as by law you should not be bolting anything to that house but i,m sure you are aware of that!

Anyway what type of dish is it as you might get that sold in the for sale section on here.

    Good luck!!

    romman

Yep i agree with andy ray gilbertinis are good and fairly light dishes and i fitted them on crappy spanish brickwork in the past with L brackets and were fine.

To be ohnest with you mate T+K bracketry is the best method for dishes of this size particularly if you are motorising it as you can adjust the pole better for use with usals..

Even if it is a fixed dish T+K bracketry is the most popular choice with myself in most installations of dishes above 1 metre..

Is it a fixed or motorised setup mate??

Here is mine with prob all channels cleared that im aware of 3E,4E,7D,7E,45,47,62,68,69,6A,6B,6F,72,79,42,80,71,6D

If anyone could add to it that be great so i can keep a record of them for when i update entitlements

    Here is mine m8

    0963:3E,4E,4F,42,44,45,47,53,54,56,61,6A,6B,6D,6E,6F,62,67,68,69,7A,7C,7D,7E,71,72,73,74,77,78,79,80,8B

Sly uk/eire i set my list up for so you can drop! (77,72,4E,53,54,4F) out of the above if you have sly uk card only

    romman

    *** Box office movies uses 6e and 61 ------- *** box office events Uses 78 and 6D

And i think i seen someone say 74 was also used but last time i checked and ordered ppv was the david haye fight ages ago so they could be using different lengths now.
