Missing part of Arc

    Hi chaps,


    Looking for a bit of advice.


    Helping my dad set up a motorised dish.


    So far we are able to pick up 28e, 23,e and 19e but as soon as te dish carries onto 13e and 9e the signal is missing, so Im led to believe we are missing that part of the arc as the dish is turning.


    Can anyone suggest what may be wrong?


    Dad reckons it has something to do with the dish maybe not being set up as perfect south, im thinking it may be the pole not being straight , can anone suggest anything else?

    Your bracket should be set up using a spirit level so its perfect or the dish wont track right ,make sure the positioner is set up correctly ,what size is the dish , what area are you in and what else are you trying to get and what sort of levels of signal are you getting on the ones you do get , in the forum somewhere youll find a list of strongest transponder for various satellites this may help you find them better
