But the version from Openelec is and I am sure it will be available soon. In the meantime I will remake the sd card install and try again. Does it matter which LNB I use?

I appreciate your kind offer but if it is not possible to follow a good tutorial like yours or Jims then there is something wrong with the wetek box. Not everyone is having this problem or reporting problems so this is my problem. I will try to do it myself and if not good then I will try with your backup. We have already had a problem with installing tvheadend and then discovered that their servers were down. That is not wetek's problem but they should make allowances for it. Thank you again for your help, wetek also owe you their thanks.

So I did a complete reset and installed everything again. My Satellite box logic tells me to connect my dish to the lowest lnb number (1) and as this is a 2 input tuner it should not make any difference. But it seemed sensible to try so I connected it to Lnb 2 and now everything is working as per Jims tutorial and snifferdsx. So thank you all again. Does this mean that I have a faulty tuner (ie one of the two is not working) or does it mean that Lnb 2 is the default when using only one dish connection?

the outside tuner is tuner 2 the other check if you have enable it

i take it i have to manually move radio channels to a radio bouquet as not done by tvheadend on 28.2
also on channel tag section does sort index mean bouquet order preference ?

This is a good guide i was lost for a few steps without this , was just like when I started with e2 a wee bit learning worse in the late 40's ,only issue is ecm time on the wetek seem to go from 100ms to 900 ms at times but ill make it a client and drop the omnikey , Thanks Jim

had trouble myself with tvheadend but i followed jims tutorial and all working great now

I had a similar problem, try this: On the TV adapters tab on the left, click on one level HIGHER up in the tree than the lowest level - here there is an "ENABLE" radio box that must be selected.

Sorry bit dumb of me figured it out , guess i was rushing similar to dreambox , thanks, was wanting to ask though how to load 1 of the backup files to wetek box tried putting it on usb ,openelec menu then restore backup, it just comes up blank, appreciate some help here, thanks

got as far as selecting my bouquets region 14 757 channels.

but then when clicking on channels for sorting under name i'm getting (name-not-set) and under tags by double clicking i get either SDTV or blank.

what am i doing wrong?
