Jtag Gigablue 800 se Help

Hello All,

A friend of mine has flashed his 800se with a 800ue boot loader, he first flashed it with 800ue image. It is now stuck on boot. I have tried to jtag it but I cannot seam to get bbs to connect. I am using a Cypress CY7C68013A-56PVXC (FX2LP) and have installed BBs onto an win xp machine. I have a guide for pin out of the connector but having no luck. Windows detects the board as a Cypress CY7C68013A-56PVXC (FX2LP) so not sure where to go.
Just wondered if the box is scrap. any help in the right direction would be great. My head is spinning somewhat reading various guides with I'm confused a bit.

To update on things,

I have reinstalled .net 4 to see if that makes a difference, and it doesn't. I am not sure if the drivers for the board are correct so there is a screen of my device manager

Just an little update.....

I have installed winxp on another machine, the board was installed as a Broadcom test board which is different and I didn't see an error. I have removed the jumper as suggested. I still cant get the box to connect. I have tried to do a boot log but nothing shows on screen, could be a damaged null cable. I have posted extra pics to id the wiring of the bbs plug. I have also tried different gnd pins and swapped scl with sda on the board

Still struggling but this is where I am,

Clean install of Windows xp 32bit,
Installed .Net version 2, version 3, 3.5, 4 in that order,
Installed BBS without using setup file,
installed BCM97325
Copied .xml file to flashes folder,
turned computer off,

connected board to box and switched on,
Switched box on, switch comper on,

BBS still show disconnected....

Not sure where to go know,

I am using the xml file people are saying for a gigablue se. I haven't actually checked the nand chip. I will do now, thanks

I have just looked at the box again after your suggestion and to my horror it's a 800 se plus. That's why it won't connect.

I am not sure which xml file and Broadcom chip is in it.

I have tried flashing correct bootloader but the USB is unresponsive.

Sorry to be a pain,

Connected serial cable think its a null, opened putty ,set to com port and baud, switch box on and nothing, Cant type anything as if its not connected.

Will make one I think to be sure.

Thanks, I'll have another go, I have tried another computer with same lead and got same result. I will get a null cable and have another go.
