Hi, I want to buy a large dish for around £30 (I now have a motor and LNB) the gain is 40.5 dB-42.7 dB.
I didn't really want a mesh dish but this is the right price.
Impressive spec, do you think the spec would go up much if it were a solid dish?
Do you know of a better deal?

If you want to buy new then that seems a very good price, never been keen on mesh myself
Give local gumtree a try first, you can often pick up ready assembled used ones for around that price perhaps better brand

I went ahead and bought the 1.1cm dish in my original post.
Well, I'm not happy, it's thin and sharp edged cut my hand as soon as I touched it.
Hold it at each side and gently move it back and forth, it flexes like mad, and those mesh holes seem very large.
It also isn't the dish in the photo or description.
I'm thinking of sending it back.

don´t even keep it for a minute more!!
repackage as it came and through fleabay contact the vendor that it is being sent back..
if you paid by paypal, then contact them also
if something is too good to be true,etc .... learn the lesson..
Send it back and buy a decent one bud, take a look in local Gumtree for a known quality brand

I'd recommend a Gibertini or a Triax dish.
I had a Gibertini 1m dish before ,superb dish ,very well made and made of aluminium so it never rusts.
Think I paid 70 euro for mine .

Max digital are crap pure and simple stick to the Named brands as mentioned above either a Gibertini or a Triax also consider Orbital these are the main 3 you may pay a little more money but the Quality is worth it
i have always used triax 88cm, 1.1 mtr over the years
