I am glad you asked this on the forum as i know another member who has just purchased the same card, so we will make the solution a sticky once you are both up and running. I have a peer with this card who i will contact if this fails but this is the info i have found.

    1. block all other c&f lines in your cfg by placing # infront of them and insert card then restart cccam and select one of the channels which the card opens.

2.Enter your details and card serial on the site you have found http://www.techniradio.de/Freischaltung/
Also read sms activation from the same site is quicker. Using google translate the next box down says Just send an SMS with the activation number and the number of your TechniSat smart card to the registration system. Detailed instructions are on packages of tickets.

Wait for picture to clear , this can take up to 12 hours:(

The east way is a conax cam or receiver with conax embedded like technomate but i will contact my peer with this card and see what he says, There is also a viaccess version of this card which is alot simpler.Good luck ddaddy will let you know as soon as i hear from my peer.

The amount of peers your server will handle more than anything else depends of how you manage it,the trick is to limit how much you receive and reshare, look to reduce the amount of hops you are using, and filter out cards you do not need, also the number of each card you have in hops further down.

Cccam sid assign make a huge difference to the amount of sucsessful ecm handled by your local card, there are programmes to do this for you but this is how i do it and prefer as it saves the need to build a bouquet containing only the channels your card opens. This will stop all requests to your card for channels which it does not open.
There is an auto assign feature in cccam which makes this much easier, here's how it is done

Just let CCCam do the job for you

    1. You set the "SMARTCARD SID ASSIGN" line in Cccam.cfg to a high number. For example 100,
i have a DM500, and my local slot is identified as sci0, so i start setting my line to:

    SMARTCARD SID ASSIGN : /dev/sci0 100 { } and restart my CCCam

    2. Here comes the smart part: Now enter your.dyndns.org:16001 in your webbrowser, and

    choose the "Entitlements" page.

    3. Now, with your DM remote, zap through only the channels that your card opens, and

refresh the entitlements page while you do this, to see the results. CCCam will

automatically choose the correct SIDs as you zap through your channels!,copy & paste the

    assigned sids into your cfg.

    4. When done, count the amount of SIDs assigned in the "Entitlements" page, and now

replace the number 100, which we assigned in the beginning, with the correct amount of

SIDs chosen. So, if your card have 43 SIDs that it opens, your line will now look like:

    SMARTCARD SID ASSIGN : /dev/sci0 43 { sid1, sid2, .....sid43, }

    5. Restart your CCCam and you are done!

What is the Dreambox Config Creator

Written by myself the Dreambox Config Creator is a Windows application that assists you in the creation of config files for the popular cam emulators CCcam, MGCamd and NewCS.

Consisting of a simple mode for the less experienced user the util will create the required configuration files to allow you to use your Sly UK card in your Dreambox. This is done by entering a few simple details and all the hard work is done for you. It will even send the completed files to your Dreambox via FTP, ensuring they are sent to the correct locations based on the box model you select.

It will assist in the creation of the essential 'Box Key' needed to use the new white sly UK card. You simply enter the serial number of your original sly box and the software will create your box for you.

As the title suggests. This is a quick guide on how to remotely access your box.

To save you remembering you?re WAN IP address, i would suggest opening an account with DYNDNS and get yourself a host name that resolves to your IP. Visit the site below.

    Code
    www.dyndns.com

Once you have obtained your name from dyndns you will have for example something like...

    yourname.homelinux.com

For the purpose of this guide please note that i am using DreamElite BH 1.3.3 F Image.

Configuring the Webinterface on the reciever

First you need to go to your plugins menu. See below...

Next you need to select the 'Webinterface' plugin and you should see the below or very similar.

Here you need to set the below parameters.

    a) 'HTTP Port' - It is strongly recommended that the port number 80 is changed to another random number. For this guide i have used port 1222

    b) 'Enable HTTP Authentication' - For added security you should enable this so that upon connection to the web interface you will be asked to supply a username and password. (This guide assumes that you have a password set on your box already)

That brings us to the end of the config for the Webinterface.

    Configure your router

Now that the Webinterface is configured, we need to move on to your router. Your router needs to be configured so that it knows where to route the traffic when a call is made on port 1222.

I have a Belkin router and will give an example of my setup. In principle all other routers will be the same when it comes to the configuration. When you are logged in to your router, you are looking to configure the 'Virtual Servers'. This may be labelled differently amongst other Router manufacturers but will not be far of the name.

Once you are in the Virtual Servers config, set it up as below...

Save the setting and the router is configured. On to the testing.

For others that have a different manufacturers router, visit the below link for help with its configuration.

    Code
    http://portforward.comAccessing your box

    Accessing your box

Open your favourite web browser and in the address bar you need to type...

    yourname.homelinux.com:1222

Above, i have used yourname.homelinux.com as an example. This will be different for everyone dependent on what you had setup at the dyndns site.

Once you have connected to the reciever you will be prompted for your username and password.

Once you successfully login you will see your Vu Web Panel.

Yes it is possible, ban them in your routers config page so they dont get near your server. You may find some of the ips will change and you will need to update you settings accordingly. A better idea is to set your fline to 0 0 0 { 0:0:0 } so they get nothing from you and leave it that way until you are sure they have removed your line.

If you are careful who you share with and keep good communication with the people you do, then theres no reason why you would be in this position again in a few months.

If you have a small amount of peers i suggest creating a new dyndns/hostname and passing all your peers the new details. This way you wont be getting anymore illegal connections.

Introducing Cccam Toolbox - Track Illegal Users

This has to be one of the best tools i have came across in my time using Cccam. It has loads of features but the best has to be the ability to see your Cccam syslog live showing any attempted logins from illegal user, double logins ect. For this to work make sure you have the following line enabled in your cfg.

    Code
    DEBUG : yes

First download the programme rar file, make a new folder on your desktop and extract the files into it.
Start the programme and you see the following page

    94519109.jpg

Select your language and fill in the parameters then click save.
To view the syslog file it requires a file called syslog.conf in the same folder as your cccam.cfg file, the programme will create this for you as shown here.
Click the syslog tab at the top them try to start syslog on box button and you will see the following screen.

    56423055.jpg

The sys log.conf file will now be created in the folder you extracted the cccam toolbox files to.
    120.jpg

FTP the syslog.conf file to the same folder that contains your cccam.cfg ( normally var/ect)
Once you have done this try to start syslog on box again and you get the following box.

    97151908.jpg

If the ip address displayed here is not your dreambox ip change it and click on use selected ip.

    121.jpg

That`s it you can now view your syslog live showing any illegal/double logins helping you keep everything secure.

Here are some other useful features contained in this tool.

Telnet, including easy change of box password.

    122.jpg

Update Cccam channel info/ providers list. files automatically placed in correct foler on box.

    Any questions/problems please ask away.

Easiest way to check is download an up to date sat xml file, using the tab above and compare it to the one in your box, It wont do any harm to update anyway.Hope this helps.

Look at the tabs on the nav bar lyngsat/kings of sat. If you are missing any of them then update your satellites xml file using the tab next to them.

Hi Guys if my box has 5 shares and 4 of them will not give me a reshare but one will is it possible to give out the one share that I have got a reshare off and not the rest?

Like you said only one of your clines is giving you reshare, it is not possible to reshare the others so all your peer will get from you is what you have reshare of.
