I have today recieved my VU+ Solo and must say its cool.
I'm that impressed i have decided i'm going to replace my DM800HD Genuine with a VU+ Duo asap.

is there a way to get the video recorded on my dm800 hdd on to my pc and what would be the best software to use to edit the videos.

also is there a plugin that alows you to encrypt password access videos on my hdd.

then get drivers for phoenix programer from manufactures website for linux

I have one and it is fine to share to but not possuble from as far as i'm aware unless it can be done in newcamd.
I'm looking at getting rid soon and replacing with a VU+ and the main reason is the channel list for the Spiderbox is rarely updated these days.
Unlike channel list for my DM800 updates are every few days.

Does fine with a cline though.

Thank master G for pointing me to this tutorial.
What i need to know is will this cause any problems on my Ubuntu Server if i have a smargo reading one card and a phoenix programmer reading the other.
What i,m finding now is if the server is powered off my card readers are lost when it reboots, i run through another tutorial to re configure the pheonix and to put it to 3.57mhz and the only way i seem to be able to get card readers back on with cccam conecting to oscam is to reboot server and to switch off my router for about 2 mins.
after that readers and users (newcamd) show up in oscam webint.
Sorry if this does not make much sense but no point in me loading this 52_reader if its not what i need and will cause problems.
Maybe someone with a simlar setup to me will know.

i aint got gift anymore as my spider is more then 12 months old.

By the way the quality on tring sport hd 1 now with chelsea match on is so bad you can make out massive pixelated boxes all over the screen. its still in test mode lol lets hope it gets better.

@ Carmine,
Have you tried re installing the software of the box with the one i have used in? you can find it is the spiderbox section of the forum posted by me.
then put the latest Billybits channel list on it and go to 16 eats and scan for these channels.
this way your system will be identical to mine.

Currently watching MAN U V Blackburn on Tring Sport HD1 quality is very good when you compare it to that on Sport 1.

Really funny that tested tonight for the first time and al is working may be worth you deleting the new channels that are not clearing and trying again as i'm pulling all the new ones in and clearing them all.

The software on my box is on here in the spiderbox section posted by me.

the only other thing i could suggest is you make sure MODULATION located just under polarization in that same manual scan screen reads this:

MODULATION = DVB-S QPSK

should'nt think dish size will be a problem but i'm using a channel master 1.2 mtr here in N W Wales.

MENU= MANUAL SCAN = PRESS GREEN BUTTON TO ADD NEW TP = ADD 11345 H 27500 = START SEARCH = SAVE CHANNELS FOUND.

the disk boots to a black screen to select os either windows xp or vista, vista had never worked so i never bothered with it so would always boot on xp.
now when you choose xp the screen turns black and the pc make click noise and reboots and this just loops.

smart stutus!!! how do i find this out?

My desktop pc stopped working about a month ago.
When it boots up it just switches off and reboot and just loops like that.
I purchased a lead to connect the drive to another pc via USB to try and recover the only pictures I have of the kids but it keeps saying that disk e and f as it has two partions on it need formatting before being used. I obviously click cancel at this point but then I get a message saying media corrupt.
Is there anyway I can get my children's pictures off it my wife is really pissed off with the whole situation especially after me saying that albums are now kept on pc no need to print the pics at tesco.

According to another football forum they had tranmission problems on the sports channels, so the brodcasted the matched on other channels such as vh1 did anyone notice this.

Spiderbox HD Patch 15/11/11

Connection protocols optimized.
No longer any need for flashing previous s/w.

Turn services off (ethernet and UCAS) & Factory Reset before flashing.
Factory Reset also after flashing.

Remember to back up all settings for reloading after Factory Resets.
