For any 28.2 users using AutoBouquetsMaker, install abm custom mixer

Menu > Plugins > Green (download plugins) > systemplugins > abmcustom mixer

After restart, in reception/tuners & scanning, you will find ABM CustomMix Importer.

Import Sky UK custom mix by DSayers

In ABM, use the SD region, not SD custom or HD/HDcustom and run ABM again. Refresh your bouquets ( change bouquets or restart) and you will have stream relay channels.

Alternatively, you can download the mix file yourself

    Code
    https://raw.githubusercontent.com/davesayers2014/CustomMix_Files/master/Standard/sat_282_sky_uk_CustomMix.xml

    Please note:

    The tester reported:

Some HD channels can be opened without Stream Relay. Comedy Central HD, MTV HD, TLC HD, Nick Jr. HD, zee tv hd, colors HD

If those do not clear for you, edit your mix file and add the lines to delete the hd channels

Update the provider file and and then run ABM again. Don't forget to refresh bouquet (change to a different bouquet and then back ) or restart.

Your picture/screenshot is missing. Are you sure ABM is completing successfully? The SID not found in Pat issue is normally when you select a channel that is offline/no longer broadcasting

Bother, i forgot to change on of the capital letters that is why it did not work for me. Can you add something to treat everything in lowercase?

For king of sat, somebody has to upload those details. ABM reads from the data tables on satellite directly. Just modify the mix file that create csvs and it will generate the references for you. might as well as add another column for the reference you use. Enable not indexed and you will get everything, not just what is in your region.

If you respond to PM's i would appreciate some help with custom mix files that create table with references etc. Somebody helped with adapting to python 3, but some corrupt characters still crop in

    Nobody uses cable nowadays.

The service references you are using are not in the standard format. can you explain the difference?

This are the references I have at the moment.

You won't have a problem with DVB-T2 in the UK using OpenPLI, OpenVix, OpenATV, OpenBlackHole, HD Freaks, OpenSpa, Pure2, Egami, HD Freaks. I have not yet tried openVision, but am sure it will be fine too.

Two of the Vix coders are terrestrial only. Both come from topfield user base. Simon Capewell has incorporated some of the functions he was used to in the topfield like joining events split apart by the 5 minute "news" type of broadcasts that you get on some channels.

If you are using USB tuners, OpenSpa have built their own mediatree which is more inline with linux standards.

Can you please double check that you are getting the EPG for all the new BBC HD channels? I have tried with unique IDs and Match rytec IDs

I am not getting EPG for

    BBC One Lon HD, 1:0:19:287B:800:2:11A0000:0:0:0:

    BBC One Wst HD, 1:0:19:285B:7FE:2:11A0000:0:0:0:

    BBC One SW HD, 1:0:19:2865:7FE:2:11A0000:0:0:0:

London swapped over to HD last week. Some swapped over yesterday/today but they have EPG

    Edit:

Although 101 is missing on the sky page, the channel is on 801.

There was a post on another forum where it was mentioned that it is a file size limitation in the bootloader that affects flashing by USB. Thread title is "Xtrend et10000 stuck in flashing". Just in case it helps:, I attach the bootloader.

That being said, why would you flash by USB when you can flash using the remote/terminal? Although they call the process different names and use different file locations, they in essence use ofgwrite by betacentauri to flash flash the image. You will have to transfer image file to the location that the image you are on uses/accepts. Most will accept the image on root of storage device, others will have a specific location.

ofgwrite -k -r "Directory containing unzipped image"

    As an example:

    ofgwrite -r -k /media/usb/et10000

What are you trying to do with DCC? Which version of DCC are you using?

Have you set a password on your image? See this thread:

As on the other forum, all E2 receivers work the same. So whatever issue you had with configuring your receiver not to use USALS, will be exactly the same on your new receiver. You need to go over your actions and double check what you did. Maybe transferred xml file with slightly different satellite names or positions, etc.

Maybe an Octagon SF8008? But please wait for other motorised dish users to respond.
