Thanks for your help. How we can define the "Satelite picon" itself?

I don't know exactly what you mean by "define". I fyou are asking what name it should be, the picon must be named exactly as the service reference.

However, almost all images now support picons based on the names. With slight variations

"Equal to" is wrong setting. You don't have two motorised dishes !

Correct configuration is Second cable of motorised LNB.

You should not be restricted to any transponders on tuner B, just the same satellite as you mentioned.

Try installing the latest Pure2 image just in case there was a bug. If new image still does the same , get debug log and one of their team will look into it for you. PLI and ViX should work. I helped somebody configure their tuner in last few months and I had the same setup a few years ago.

Channel editors like E-channelizers, Dreamboxedit and Dreamset allow you to create channel list using data from lyngsat and kingof sat.

There were a few plugins to allow you to download channel lists from websites that you host. I forget the names, they were quite old.

Enigma2 was not built with security in mind, this is why people who open up their receivers to the internet get hacked and are used for streaming. Really need to use SSH keys/VPN if doing such things. I don't think there would be interest in doing what that those websites allow aswell as the IPTV aspect of it. Brings all kinds of legal issues for the image teams.

If it is the same person as on another forum, getting info from him was like getting blood out of stone. I stopped wasting my time when he refused to answer questions properly.

His description/question does not make proper sense. Depending on how you interpret his question the most straight forward answer is "no". He is looking at about £700 for multi-position Unicable switches. That price may have come down.

You configure a tuner based on what is connected to it. He could use universal LNBs on a diseqc switch to one socket/root tuner. Enigma2 allows up to 64 LNBs even on non-FBC tuners. However, you can only use one at a time because of the limitations of a diseqc switch.

If he then attaches a Unicable LNB to the other socket/root tuner, he can configure 7 tuners to that LNB. Unicable 1 LNBs usually have 4 SCR, so if using one of those, he woudl be limited to 4. The 3 other tuners will be in FBC automatic, i.e internal loop-through.

No need to do maths, there is a date on there

There is a minor difference on files.

I have created a pull request here:

    I am getting this crash

If you are the same person on PLI forum, best you try the VTI image as that is very much like the Vu+ image. OpenATV/Pure" use different unicable code to PLI/ViX. I cant rememebr if you said if you had tried them or not.

Once Dimitrij adds the code you tested to PLi, it will filter to other images.

They are saying that Vu+ are not providing manufacturer support.

They are not saying that OpenPLI are not supporting Vu+. Look at the Xtrend's, the company does not exits any more, PLI are still building images for them. PLI will do the same for Vu. When Vu receivers no longer work, PLI will stop making images for them. That could be 5 months, 2 years or 25 years.

If Vu+ no longer provider driver updates/fixes, their inaction will affect all image teams.

    With regards to the channels/bouquets/epg:-

The most common mistake is that people mix up the two systems. Deal with the two separately and it will be straight forward.

How are you selecting the channels. E2 uses the last mode you selected. When you access the EPG, it will then invoke channel selection system.

I suppose in short, don't press the EPG button for now, use the channel +/- buttons. Then select the bouquet. If you have used ABM to create your bouquets, you will only have your regional channel in the bouquets. The other channels will still be on the system. Enigma 2 has background scanning. So if you plan to only have services you want, make sure you disable it.

On Vix, the factory reset has option to just remove the channels and bouquets. Alternatively,

    init 4 && sleep 10 && rm -f /etc/enigma2/lamedb && rm -f /etc/enigma2/*.tv && rm -f /etc/enigma2/*.radio && rm -f /etc/enigma2/*.del && init 3

For obtaining EPG, on Vix, disable the Freesat EPG reader in the EPG settings menu ) I am not talking about bouquets/channels). Then use OpenTV EPG downloader.

Might be an idea for you to contribute to the Ocram picon project. everybody benefits and you can run your own build too.

EPG refresh is a channel zapper/selector. Which channels are you selecting to absorb the EPG? They have to be the ones that carries the provider's EPG. 13East has quite a few providers.

For the Sky IT provider, any service on 11881 Vertical will do.
