Oscam is a program. It will use the protocol you set. Your peers should assist with any problems.

Not sure whether you are asking about hardware or software.
Hardware wise:
Tweak it to get best signal. Same as for non-diseqc. Skew, how far in collar, height in relation to other LNB so that it follows arc
Software wise:
The tuner setup is the same for whichever satellites you use with a diseqc switch. You tell receiver which satellite is connected to port A, you tell it which is connected to port B.

The Solo SE has plug and play tuners, so yes you can swap the tuner cards.
The first edition does not accept twin tuner satellite cards

Unless you can provide a screenshot where the signal levels can be seen, people are not going to believe you. Your screenshots show "N/A", this is indicative of an IPTV service.

What is the point of using CrosEPG for Freeview? Just tuning to the channel gets you the EPG.
Note:
Freeview => uses an aerial
For your IPTV , I would recommend you use EPG importer

Use the webinterface to change the A/V settings. Try 720p.
Have you tried a different HDMI cable?

CrossEPG gets EPG data from signal wire and also from internet depending on settings. Unless you say how you have configured it, not easy to answer.

Post a picture of your OpenTV providers page as well as providers start order please.

I am guessing you did not follow point 8 & 11 on the edited 29-12-11 guide on the Vix forum.
8. Select Sky UK OpenTV (Astra2 on 28.2) and press OK. You must have a green tick next to your chosen providers.
11. Press the Green button to save the changes.
If you have done those, the debug log will show error.

Sometimes the power supply units are faulty and cannot supply enough current for tuner to function properly.
