Off top of me head!
you could loop/connect the 2 receivers using Sat cable (what boxes do you have)....however 2nd box would have to watch 1st

run a 2nd line/cable from your LNB (box the is mounted on dish) buddy if the LNB is capable! You may need to get a 2 way or 4 way LNB depending on your dish!
e.g my new sly sat dish has 4 way LNB so you can run 4 feeds off/through it by connecting from the LNB - so check the LNB of your sat and see how many ports are there!
have a look in this thread buddy

you need to comvert the jpg to mvi format using logo converter and ftp to box!
all explained in thread! Shout back if you get stuck!
In a nutshell!
Debian is a less Graphically enhanced OS whereas Ubuntu has the bells n whistles added to it to make it look similar to other big OS's
Functionality wise, i think Ubuntu may have edge on speed and capability, purely due to the support and updates/evolvement of Ubuntu system!
I personally found Debian easier to use than Ubuntu, but horses for courses.
Ubuntu offers a streamline no GUI just dos like commands, which is lightweight but can be it bit confusing to beginners as its all code/command based
Debian simple GUI is less resourceful then Ubuntu GUI
So dependent on your knowledge (level) of technical nowse, also the speed of the machine you wish to add the Linux OS to! may effect which one you choose!
Either or the Jobs gets done!
CS stands for ****Sharing!
So if you don't share your getting into it for the wrong reasons!
As stated anything is possible, but sharing is caring!
Thanks, ill take a look, Apple need to make some changes to IOS, or maybe even some new OS all together, Apple users are getting bored with IOS x.x which is same as before with a few mods to it :)
IOS7 :snicker:
in laymens terms......
Ram Memory = Speed/How much can be done at one time!
Flash Memory = Internal Storage space!
So in the instance of receivers....you may wish for better RAM over flash as you can add a HDD or USB to compensate the limit in Flash Memory!
Normally Flash is just used to install the Image.....plugins, channel lists, picons e.t.c are normally stored on a USB or HDD (Extra storage space)
Use Winrar to Compress the folder (you will have to install WinRar program)
or
Right click folder in windows > go to send to > compressed folder
This should compress the folder in a zip file which will be easier to upload
thank you for the reply i usinf cccam 2.1.3 and i mean sotcam.key file
sorry bud...put that in usr/keys
depending on the Cam you are using!
Cccam.cfg file goes into /etc folder on receiver! (for Cccam)
newcamd.list file goes into /usr/keys folder on receiver! (for MgCamd)

On the main Network page with DCC have you tried the 'search' button to see if it picks up your duo? > it will scan the network and show IPs
Can you access internet from duo? open plugins and see if you can access network to download or launch TSPanel e.t.c something that will access the net!
If you can't from the Duo access network from Menu and see if DHCP is enabled/disabled > enable it and run network test > all should show green ticks!
Come back if none of above solves issue
Hi All
Final got the box to work. When i turn off and restart the Amiko Alien 2 all the channels scramble. I have to go and restart early pluggin again to get the stations to start working.. is this a common problem and is there a way to fix it. it really annoying.
Thanks
Karl.
Have you enabled the option - 'start on restart' from cam settings? > in Cam settings you have option to 'start' but you should also have option to 'start on restart' (normally blue button) > enable that and it should be ok
depening on your image mate you can download and install plugins from plugin menu!
(got to plugin Menu > should see option to download/add or delete/remove - select Add and choose from the in house Image plugins > It should download and install > May need a restart for it to show/work correctly!
Failing that.....plugins will be in a IPK format, if you get the ipk from say our E2 plugins section, you can either copy to USB or FTP to /tmp location on your reciever!
You would then go into Menu and look for install local extensions. (depending on image you can also install using shortcuts Blue or Green button)
When you select install local extensions you should be prompted with /tmp location which should show the ipk file(s) you ftp'd over > Select the IPK and install.....Reboot/Restart to show/activate!
Or you should be able to select from USB > again navigate to USB and IPK location > select IPK and Install!
Any problems hit us back

its simply enough mate.....all in the software you use lol
for example your Celtic Logo
The 2D Face showing side would be the 1st/starting image so you would save that as wait1.png
Then using a 3D rotate tool (within software program) - you would create many (mine have 19) instances/different PNGS at different rotated dimensions
Everytime you change angle of dimension save it as wait2.png, wait3.png, wait4.png, wait5.png e.t.c
The last one would be it returning to original 2D Face showing full Celtic logo!
Preview them as a slider in explorer or the like to make sure it looks ok....then ftp to spinner location on receiver!
When your happy then post it here and share with the forum lol!
Intros 1st buddy please!
Link here Introduce yourself to the Forum here introduce yourself to the lads there!
In answer to your question.....
Spinners should be located in usr/share/enigma2/spinner (may be in skin_default folder also)
You will see a list of PNG files - each file is the spinner in a stage of revolving
Keeping the dimensions the same approx 100px x 100px (or 92px x 87px on my vix image) you can reproduce these how you like with whatever you like and save each stage as a PNG file (PNG only as it allows transparency)
Keep the file names the same as originals then replace existing ones on your box and your new spinner should show on reboot!
I know there is also a spinner collection plugin....not sure if Celtic logo in it though lol
Use a good photo editor for images.....manipulation....revolving e.t.c...i use photoshop...i'm sure there are others
