Get a decent LNB like inverto ¬ After all its what is actually receiving the signal your using.

Re-flash with new software ¬ Shoud reset everything ! :83:
try using a skin that gives you ecm times _
You might need to support NAN fix read here ¬ http://linuxsat-support.com/showthread.php?t=3553
you can check ecm via web interface yourboxip:16001
C: line providers are frowned upon here ¬ And if its a connection your paying for then i'm afraid thats likely to be where the problem lies:shocker:
You need to look for reliable ecm times under 600ms _ for freeze free _
Plasti-Kote _
We use it on satellite dishes and outdoor wifi access points _

Panch you will need a DVB C tuner to receive cable signal - They use VHF ¬
There is a usb plugin C type tuner available i think ?
Or perhaps thats for ultimo ?
Previously on HD tests at 9e i think it was Steve a normal hd receiver opened up 1 quarter of the image like top right top left bottom right bottom left ¬ BUT they may have been specific to those tests ???:40_002:
Sounds like the tuner has failed ¬ Common on ols sly Pace / Amstrad and thompson silver boxes.
i have the dongle on line on my laptop set the pc to share internet conection and pluged a ethernet to my solo2
My understanding is that the ethernet cable will will need to be a crossover type and not a standard type ! Unless you use a switch between them !
Its to do with the pin outputs at the ethernet connection on each device !
Back again LOL, i have a 1mtr dish with dragonsat ds-3000 motor and vu+ duo2 stb with openvix apollo 126 installed. using usals which i can't seem to get on with i go to say astra 28.2 and i get nothing but if i step to the east eventually i get it and try to save it at say index 44 (already 26 presets) and store (green button) it doesn't save it and then moves to were ever it feels like when i exit, i have an old opticum xts703 box and when i set that up on the dish it goes straight to astra 28.2 or hotbird or astra 19.2 as it should do!, also using usals!!. I have tried other images blackhole, vti etc and they all do exactly the same thing ie won't STORE. Does anyone have an idiots guide please or know were i'm going wrong? thank you..
copy your longitude / Latitude stats from the working usuals box to the VU box ? ¬ Sounds like your close to me _ Caz is talking sense :cazsmoke:
Solo has plenty of Memory and Processing power to cope as server no problem !
For a small set-up people have used Raspberry pi as CCcam/Oscam server _
Nice box ¬
you should have 1 cable from tuner A to the motor then LNB _
Second cable should go directly to LNB .
Configure tuner A with disec for motor and tuner b as 2and feed :47_002:.
You have 2 cables from box to dish ?
Catseye 28e settings are updated often and freely available _:present:
therefore we have used test lines from payservers to make sure that our set-ups are correct.
Should probably read ¬

Could be a 2 week ban coming up ? Over to Mods :79:
Ok, I will continue this question with this.....
i am using the same C:line from a friend (non-payserver) in two different boxes, a DM800 and a Vu+Solo2.
Both boxes use the same version of CCcam but the DM800 although older is much more stable :59:
Looks like some boxes are better for sharing than others.
In my experience tm6000series box and ferguson prefers N: line for more stable glitch free connection _ Newcamd protocol i believe ?:good news: N:line to oscam connection in cccam is no problem ¬ Just ask your mate for N: line to test yourself and let us know ?
:rikjaard1:
VU Zero sounds like perfect upgrade from dm500 _ Similar size box not gonna break the bank and does lots more than enigma1 ! :thumb:
