    I agree with MasterG... DMZ opens your device up to allsorts of possible attacks, also when you are setting up your port i would recommend you use TCP only instead of tcp/udp combined... this will eliminate any type of UDP flooding attacks.

    What model is your router?, some routers are a nightmare and require firewall rule settings and device creation etc, you can also set your port in the router settings with the mac address of the device but you should be setting it with the static ip of your device, routers do vary in setup so mac address setups are not always available.

    And another totally confusing thread yet again on linuxsat ! if its not the language barrier confusing me it is thread highjackers.

    3 members have totally gatecrashed this thread without an apology or even an explanation and i do not know whats what yet again...typical for here it seems.

    Anyway...Irdeto are famously known for anti-cs measures and also official card shutdowns from my experience when i was involved in the scene.

    Al Jazeera (JSC) Sports official cards and MOSC cards were fried in servers/ emulator dragon cards were also made redundant due to software changes/card upgrades.

    Surflock was also integrated into there card system years ago where a maximum of 2 ecm's were allowed per official card in the CS scene and they are the only known smartcard security firm to do this to my knowledge.

    I believe Iredto were also the frontrunners in fingerprint technology... and it was simple stuff too... they used a state of the art camera in front of a tv set to view the card serial number that the human eye cannot see..this was after they acquired a line from a payserver so they then knew who was sharing their official cards... NDS and particularly BskyB adopted this technology too and thats why UK sky subscribers back in 2008/2009 were receiving letters stating there subscription was cancelled/ void and they wanted their viewing card back.... changed days now as the security is so advanced with smartcards..

    Irdeto was also the first or at least one of the frontrunners to offer providers unique key pairings between receivers and smartcards to prevent CS which is very similar to what we see now on certain NDS providers and CAK7 on certain Nagravision caids.

    There was also a thread in the public section on linuxsat recently regarding NOVA being wide open with a certain version of oscam... bollocks i say...its never going to be that easy with unique keys and pairing per receiver/account as i explained above...

    I would say you are flogging a dead horse when it comes to irdeto and cs... you could try internal readers in genuine VU+ boxes with specific providers tho...that is worth a shot....

    Smargo readers are Notorious for setting incompatibility/ and or user error as s3no has hinted at above.

    Thanks MasterG and thanks for the reply.

    Looks like you guys are on the ball with more than i thought:-)

    I get the fact its not an overnight thing... i was probably leaning more towards.... hey you... i started this thread in german... and it has to continue in that language..

    Probably a bit too ambitious and non pc on my part tho...my bad:-(

    Just a suggestion here, if a thread is opened in a certain language is it possible for the forum software to detect it and allow the thread to continue only in the language it was opened with?

    Or could there be a rule for this, maybe that rule would just cause too much policing from the mods i dunno.

    The issue for me ofcourse is that my main language is English and sometimes i start reading a thread and then further down other comments are in certain languages that even google translate has difficulties with so i end up leaving the thread bemused.

    I,m not moaning or complaining here, i,m just trying to see if its possible to make a plan of some sort, i understand a bit of spanish and can usually translate most other languages if i need to but as i say sometimes i get a bit lost on the forum, and i do walk away from most threads if i dont get it but to start reading something in English and then i get lost is a bit disjointed.

    Looks like a paid app to me too, the inclusion of epg says this even more.

    I dont know exactly what is on the app but of course i assume movies, however it does not take much to create apps for e2.

    If anybody wants to team up and create apps like this for e2 then i,m in....

    No idea and not heard anything, could be CAK7 pairing where new info is required and hard to find, hopefully its something silly so the first thing i would try is the latest oscam you can find and then open a support ticket on oscam streamboard if latest oscam version does not help.

    If you are saying caids are changing i assume you mean in the stream? and not the card itself, i dont know much about polsat but being encrypted with nagravision they may be changing to cardless encryption, and i suppose one way to test that theory is to plug your official polsat reciever in and see if channels clear without a viewing card present,, thats assuming you have a paired official box with your card which most probably wont have.

    If you have a polsat CAM i would try your card in that if you have a box with a module interface that is, vu zero gen 1 obviously does not.

    Add (caid = 1861) to your reader config too, not saying this is your issue tho.

    Bizzare request mate to say the least,, CCcam emu is used on the enigma 1 and 2 platforms which is based on linux.

    You can root certain android devices but i think the big question remains...wtf are you selling?

    And why would someone help you with this task ?

    I always recommend VU+ boxes but i don't mean to be biased on that as there are many fantastic enigma2 boxes out there other than VU, it really is the old cliche tho on what you want to pay or can afford when you choose.

    FBC tuners i am led to believe are fantastic so its your best option i would say with a single feed, however if your box does not have this tuner then you can only record one channel on one satellite at any one time but you can (restricted) record more if the channels are on the same transponder which are usually highlighted in your channel list, to add a second input it is just a case of a twin lnb and 2nd co-ax line to your receiver providing the receiver has twin input or more capabilities.

    For iptv recording i have used an enigma2 app called Xtream which allowed me to record iptv but this app is usually sent as per your iptv provider.

    Cant really answer much more except that timeshift and recording will work just fine on your enigma2 box with live satellite or cable channels providing your internal or external storage device is ok.

    Hi, has anyone got the latest or as recent as possible oscam server bin file with cacheex support, all the recent ones i seem to find dont have cacheex, even from streamboard for some reason.

    Cheers

    Do you really need dvbapi ? i dont use it on my 4k reciever and oscam emu works fine.

    version

    • OSCam r11532-797 on my tm twin 4k.

    You could try to disable dvbapi and use a line like below into oscam.server file.

    edit, actually you will need dvbapi, got confused as webif stated no files for dvbapi.. to that end add this to your cfg from the good admin at linuxsat

    [dvbapi]

    enabled = 1

    au = 1

    pmt_mode = 0

    request_mode = 1

    user = linuxsatsupport

    read_sdt = 1

    write_sdt_prov = 1

    boxtype = dreambox

    [reader]

    label = line_cccam

    protocol = cccam

    enable = 1

    device = 192.168.1.22,port

    user = HOME2

    password = HOME2

    inactivitytimeout = 30

    cacheex_allow_filter = 0

    group = 1

    [reader]

    label = line_newcamd

    protocol = newcamd

    enable = 1

    device = 192.168.1.22,port

    key = 0102030405060708091011121314

    user = HOME2

    password = HOME2

    inactivitytimeout = 30

    cacheex_allow_filter = 0

    group = 1

    If your webif is not working correctly it points to the version of webif to be ohnest, either consider reflashing your box or as Master G advised, re-install the webif if your image still has an online feed for plugins.

    Amiko alien2 triple tuner .there is 2 screw connections and one push in that is marked cable on the back

    Am getting some channels now.but keep getting service not found error .when I try ABM it starts halve way across

    And freezes all the time.is there a good image I could use

    When you boot the box what software revision is it showing?

    Alternatively you should be able to find out build revisions in your menu system via your remote control.

    alternatively

    so to keep a live v m feed I must keep the broadband connection

    I didn't say MUST, i stated to ensure a live feed to keep your vm connection alive was to keep your vm bb alive, it is unlikely as stated that a connection from the cab will be disconnected but its a risk you take, you can always re-subscribe to vm broadband services if this ever happens.

    Its a waste of time anyway, most of ss sports gone and more to follow for sure... iptv now is your best answer as you stated yourself.

    If you hang onto vm internet and cancel vm tv only then your line will remain active, as for splitter/s you should already have that setup in place if you had tv and broadband from VM.. just remove the official reciever after it dies and hook up the zgemma, although you may need a converter to attach feed to zgemma, i've uploaded a picture of one, i,m not high up on zgemmas so i,m not sure what type of catv connection they have so you may not need an adaptor at all, they are cheap as chips anyway if you do.

    It depends which box you have as some Catv boxes have either a male or screw type connection, being a triple tuner tho its likely to have 2 x screw (ftype) connections and one is for satellite and one for Catv (Cable)

    You can use any provider but bare in mind most of the sky sports channels have now gone and are solely working on official vm boxes.

    You also would need to check you have an active vm connection if you dont use vm broadband.

    If you dont have a router capable of using a vpn or you dont want to use a router then you will have to install the vpn on the target machine oscam is running on, so for instance a linux pc can use a vpn by following a guide from your vpn provider, in your case the windscribe website, and enigma 2 boxes have a plugin available called openvpn, follow dsayers thread here OpenVPN Setup guide for most VPN,s and scripts for enigma2 box vpn setups.

    Also if your oscam is for external server purposes then bare in mind only specific vpn providers allow port forwarding.

    Good luck
