Evening everyone, I wanted to know if the different variants of the VU+ 4k Models accept each others backup images?

For example a would a VU Solo 4k box accept another backup image from say VU+ Uno 4K?

Not many backup images for the 4K solo so this is why I asked.

Can I ask a question here, sorry if it comes across as stupid. The codes some of you have posted, (eg. CW: 17 74 9A 25 5E 58 C6 7C) do you actually need them to access the feed or is it a straight pickup? I'm thinking of putting my motorised dish back up soon so this would be interesting to know ahead of the joshua - parker fight.

Just started using this tonight for proton radio and it's top! Only thing I can't seem to find is ibiza sonica radio channel, any ideas how to get this working within the plug on my VU4K? Would make my night if someone could point me in the right direction!

Evening all, I just wondered if there is a way I get get music playing from another device through the VU4K Solo via an airplay kind of app.

What I want ideally is to play music from soundcloud on either iphone or macbook directly to the 4K Solo.

Is there anyway to do this please ? Help would be greatly appreciated.

I want to take out a Now TV 14 day free sub to record the agony and the ecstasy documentary. Is there anyway I can play it from my Macbook through the HDMI into my Samsung TV or VU 4K+ and record it?

I recently changed my image to the latest VIX image. However, this is the first time I have changed an image and not used one of Master G's backups so the image I'm not using is pretty basic from what I can see.

A few questions:

1. How I'm I ftp'ing into this? I'm using filezilla and not had an issue before so I'm using the name of the box 192.0.etc etc then leaving username as root and pw blank but no connection.

2. How do I install rats bouquet if I can't ftp?

3. How do I install a kodi type plugin to get some free sports?

Any idea what will be the best for sat or iptv for next footy season? I heard there was issues with kodi so does this mean iptv will not be any good? Also are there free plugins that I could use with my box?

Evening all. I have a few questions for my box.

1. So I had a unofficial package for sly sd, obviously this has now dark. I have not had time to install my motorized sat dish as I have moved from where I lived in the UK so at the moment I only get 28.2. I'm still trying to work out the position of the dish in my garden as I need to try to find out what sats will be broadcasting next seasons footy. Could anyone shed any light?

2. I am running an old Vix image, but I don't seem to see any updates for the image. I'm running slyk 1hd v5.202. Does anyone have any recommendations?

3. Finally, what is the best route to go down now including plugins for iptv to get ready for the new footy season ahead + movies etc?

What happened to the Metrix HD skin?

I can see on the front display of the 4K that I have changed the video settings to 720 but still no signal even if i change the source like above.

Not working at all, changed it back to the VUPlus Solo4k OpenViX 4.2 Kodi 17.0 master G and that came straight on the box.

Can't get this image running for some reason. Have loaded image and can see that the picons are on the display of the box and see the new splash screen appear but then my tv just changes to No signal!

I then change my tv source - HDMI/DVI 1 or HDMI-CEC anynet vusolo4k but still I just get no signal!

Never had any issue with other images just coming straight on either!

Talking about Kodi, it is already installed on the backup image you made a while ago Master G, do I need to install any additional things to Kodi or is everything available as it already is?

Hello All, been a while since I last posted but have had my VU4K since they come out now and I'm still disappointed in alot of things, maybe I just don't know enough about these boxes. So I have a few questions I hope someone could help with.

I want to stream the latest movies, tv shows in english.
I want to be able to watch itv player, bbc iplayer, ch4 etc.
I want to watch the latest footy games, boxing, ppv somehow.
Do the cams actually open anything.

Can anyone shed any light please or what exactly they use when they use the box for similar things.

I'm currently running the latest OpenATV image.

Hi Master G, BT channels not clearing and disc apart from that everything else seems fine.

I added P: 0960:183C into oscam.dvbapi to see if that helps, didn't change anything.

Why would this happen when they were working perfectly with the openvix 3.2 backup oscam version 11196?
?

Should i go back to that version, if so how would I go about it?

Maybe I should have just stuck with the old Vix 3.2 image!
