Perhaps now, that PurE2 & Japhar collaboration made a huge progress on DB One/Two, bringing an alpha modern and capable image forward, perhaps you will see those solutions spill over into this STB as well? Only time will tell...
Delfi has the STB in his cupboard, so maybe... but a big maybe...
You see, an older build is possible for it (PurE2 v. 6.2 perhaps) but the problem is that it was all built on older Ubuntu versions, which we are no longer using and that makes it rather difficult...
The older images will have serious problem with sync, for instance, which will now be resolved with the new developments for AML SoC, if....

But just said they are creating problems and PurE2 is not working...
So, if some of them are changing libs, you may have problems, as PurE2 will no longer be as intended....
Ergo, once again, if you are having problems with such plugins - do NOT install them... simple but effective...

In a way I'm very happy that a program that I made around 2010/2011 still can be useful for happy users, but it is somewhat confusing as well:)
It must a a testament how good these SH4 boxes were made, since they are still around.It saved my Alien2 a while back, remember? You helped with the resuscitation procedure...:tongue1:

It means one does not need anything outside PurE2 image.
All that most people need is in our feed, no need for any other plugins:
MENU > Plugins > green button > choose...
Or:
MENU > pManager > right > Install CamD > confirm > choose.... -

Network settings in Enigma2
Do not use automatic DHCP but manually set preferred servers in:
Network > Device Setup > choose your interface (LAN= eth0 or WLAN = wlan0) > Nameserver settings > add the following:
1.1.1.1
1.0.0.1 > Save and go back to it and yellow button to add another
8.8.8.8 > Save and as above...
8.8.4.4 > Save

Your IP address changes. Note the normal one and then you'll see...
Plus, you will have a weird one, like 10.8.8.x, when VPN is "on"! That format depends on the VPN provider but...
Speed is also slower with VPN.
YIFY doesn't work in UK without VPN.
BBC iPlayer Live channels usually do not work with VPN...

You have a torrent player for E2 in PurE2.... In fact, THE torrent player, if you set it up properly!
It's not unlimited, like for a PC, no... But you are welcome to try...
Do you know why there aren't almost any torrent players for E2? 'Cause it's rather difficult!
It took Delfi's and Franc's many talents to make all the libs etc. necessary for it to work stably...
And I did tell you they are rather short with free time and good will, frankly... for many a reason....

Search for Wetek only. It's from PBNIGMA days, when Delfi made it...
Later on, with PurE2, I am not sure (I refused to have anything to do with that company from the start - so I know only second hand - since it's the same people behind AZbox) but I think there was something or other before he finally got fully aware of who these guys are and finally heard me... ;)
So, now I couldn't find anything for it, either but...

PurE2 is pushing the envelope when it comes to streaming, security and alike, so... ;)
H7, I forgot, has the best Stalker around, with Ministra support, properly done!

That depends. If you do it regularly (I restart my E2 machine every day and see if there is a SW Update - if so, I do it!) or not... If you do, there are fewer libs to update, so there is usually no need to re-flash it all from scratch...
Moreover, various Teams have a stable E2 version and a more "experimental" one, which is a bleeding edge of that teams' development...
