If your backup was in Partition 1- there may be a problem, if you are trying to get it into Partition 2... Not sure but... Try this:

...install it again, using USB file, into Partition 2 - and when you sort it out, then make the backup image....

1 - its possible change order in menu like my example image

2 - to planned a backup of image every day, hours etc... there is a option in image or i must install a plugin like backupsuite ?

3 - i have iptv provider and there are a lot of vod, so there is possibility to forward, stop and reverse hte movie ?

4 - i try also to flash on fly another image (Italysta) following istructions H7S MultiBoot "How To" - installing multiple images in H7S's internal flash! but after select 2 image like boot and after restart the mutant ramin blocked on display !!?

    Thanx for the kind words!

Please, do not treat PurE2 as any other image. Our image is unique, so trying to make it into any other image is just - wrong, if you ask me....

BTW, these are questions, not suggestions....

    1) Yes, find it in menus - alphabetical or.... MENU > Setup > System > USER INTERFACE > UI Settings, 3rd and 4th page, choose...

    2) Planned backup? Whatever for? Jack explained. You make a backu of your settings, as I explained in detail, in various STICKIES, together with plugins, then flash an image and restore settings with plugins. Peace. PurE2 v. 6.5 is at the bleeding edge of Enigma2 development and our coders frequently improve lots of parts of the system, ergo backup is not very clever, as you will struggle with SW updates....

    3) There should be - play with your remote, you should get it, as Franc coded it into PurE2, since I also insisted a while back.... Unless it was lost somehow, during upgrades to the image... (I'll ask the coders, again...)

    4) Not sure what Italysat are doing. Have you tried with a new installation or backup image?

As a rule of thumb: I repeat, PurE2 is a little bit ahead of most images in various ways, so try the latest USB image (OpenSPA, OpenATV, HDF etc.) into a different partition and see...

    Good luck!

We would like to inform you of (i) changes to the YouTube API Services Developer Policies and the Embedded Player Parameter documentation, and (ii) the publication of a new Guide.

    1. We have added 2 new sections to the Developer Policies:
    • The new Section III.E.4.i provides additional information about the data collected and sent via the YouTube embedded player. You are responsible for any user data you send to us via any YouTube embedded player before the user has interacted with the player to indicate playback intent. You can limit the data shared with YouTube before a user interacts with the player by setting Autoplay to false.
    • The new Section III.E.4.j relates to checking the Made for Kids (MFK) status of content before embedding it on your sites and apps. You are responsible for knowing when videos that you embed on your API Client are made for kids and treating data collected from the embedded player accordingly. As such, you must check the status of content using YouTube Data API Service before embedding it on your API Client via any YouTube embedded players.

    2. We have added a new Guide that explains how you can look up the MFK status of a video using the YouTube Data API Service.

    3. We had added a reminder in the Embedded Player Parameter documentation that if you enable Autoplay, playback will occur without any user interaction with the player; playback data collection and sharing will therefore occur upon page load.

Please make sure to read the YouTube API Services Terms of Service and Developer Policies (including the Guides), carefully and often. If you do not agree to our terms and policies, please do not access or use any YouTube API Services.

    Thanks
    YouTube API Services Team

So, it seems they have been following me and then....:head banger::scratch_one-s_head::don-t_mention:

Somebody more IT savvy than me needs to take a look... I think...

Had you actually put a zipped image on a USB stick and put it in the box - you would have seen it.

Move the cursor to it - and press green.... Voila!

Things sometimes change but the principles stay the same.... ;)

You can try this - with the zipped file, also - if you have the normal access to the image/menus...

Flashing, backup and restore settings on Zgemma H9 series

    ZGEMMA H9 MODELS

    (H9X/H9.2X ONLY!!!!!!)

Flashing PurE2 image on the fly

One doesn't need to download an image to one's PC first, decompress it, send it to a USB stick, get it out, plug it into H9....

Instead, rather conveniently, all is done from your comfy seat, using a Remote Control Unit (RCU).

MENU BUTTON on your RCU > pManager > Software Manager > Flash on the fly

YELLOW BUTTON to choose a partition on which to install a new PurE2 image

GREEN BUTTON - flash a PurE2 image online (directly from the net, not from mSD/USB stick or HDD/SSD)

BLUE BUTTON if you wish to switch to another version of PurE2 image (at the moment the stable one is v. 6.3)

Now, one can usually see more versions of an image - choose the one you want to "flash on the fly"...

GREEN BUTTON to "flash" the image...

Please note: one could also "Flash on the fly" with an image one downloaded previously to one's PC and then sent it via FileZilla Client, for instance, to mSD/USB stick/HDD/SSD. In that case, one chooses "LOCAL" option, not "ONLINE", having sent an image to the STB previously...

So, instead of "online", choose "local" and voila...

I have never done it, I don't need it, however... I presume it's:

Menu > Setup > SW management > Backup Image and the opposite would either be

    -SW restore

    or

-normal flashing with the image saved....

Look at the structure of the image and compare with the original image for flashing....

    This from Delfi:

"Pls note that the latest version of olm-fnc is 6.3 and NOT 6.20.

It seems we screwed up the version scheme a bit, but it is too late now to change :)

Perhaps the easiest way is to uninstall olm-fnc and install again.

(Or use --force-reinstall option from telnet, actually --force-downgrade)"

Also, it caused a BSOD when I used "original" in ServiceApp!

So, go to System > ServiceApp > Exteplayer3!

So, then restart E2 and it will be OK!
