Jedi xtream is now over the years no any update or change ? Summer time we are all going outside enjoying the summer some one going park some off going pub now winter is back gas and eclectics price is up and now better time to stop watching tv and save the bills Give him to time KiddaC boss can rebuild the new version 7,8,9,10 etc
ALatest version is from code too and can use for reinstall

Dear friend I know everyone waiting for new updates or new version but forgot it when is new version released we don’t known maybe this year or maybe no any more but as I say before old is gold I think KiddaC sir can’t continue Jedi xtream because his health condition etc he mostly spend time or focus with xtremnetiy V3.72 (25% people like xtreamnity And rest of 75% or more like Jedi xtream) but sorry to say we are waiting for new version more then 1yrs

Unless I call this one Jedi Live.
The old Jedi still works anyway (for vod - sketchy on series). We just trying to make the codebase better, and bring in some requested new functionality.

Totally agree.. Jedi is probably used by 99% of all users as a clean Live bouquets maker
And as many before me has written.
For series and vod I go to Xstreamity for the comfort use.
And All Live TV I watch from boquets made with Jedi.

KiddaC, is it not better (and save yourself a load of hassle) to make Jedimaker a dedicated "Live" (and catchup) plugin. Especially as your Xtremity option is a much better offering for those looking for the vod and series.
Perhaps you should take a vote to see percentage of users who really need vod/series in je

Display MoreI got lots of ideas for the new jedi, priority is to get the new version working and finished. Which will probably have less options than the original at first.
So we will need to go backwards to go forwards.
But maybe it will have auto server offset (like xstreamity does),
maybe it will have auto server offset for catchup,
maybe it will have the option to download picons (needs image manipulation like ePiconizer),
maybe it will fully work with series again (complicated - as one I have been looking at has the same category group names for both vod and series, grrr)maybe it will fix all broken epg data (slower),
maybe we can hide what ever categories we want to for all types of playlists. xtream, external, local etc

Due to the intense heatwave over the last few weeks, I have done absolutely no coding what so ever. My home office was just too baking hot.
But its raining again now in sunny old Manchester :) so I have tried to get back into the flow of things again today.
Done about 4 hours work on the new version again today. Slowly moving forward. As I keep saying though, the original code was so over complicated and not the ideal way of doing some things, that progress is slow. Change something, crash box, change something, crash box. Rinse and repeat. It is a little soul destroying at the moment.
Still got lots to do. And this probably isn't get released for a while yet.
But the more I do though, the easier it is getting. Which is why I am rewriting it.

Display MoreSorry say KiddaC , found problem I was having with online update and keeping settings ,
openatv backup setings are loaded then when jedimaker is installed it deletes all jedimaker bouquets and any files in epgimporter folder and playlist_all.json file via scripts in control folder , in fact even your files in control folder from latests version on here.
Are different from ones on openatv download version via plugins , but no worries i know when doing online update I just need to then manually select restore settings them everything is ok . X-Streamity no problems with that it only has controle file ,and not postrm and preinst.
but no worries Im sure you are still busy developing new version of jedimaker ( if you are keeping ok )
Sorry to say nearly one years no update this version this Means JEDI is No more updates, please forget Jedi and look forward something new and freshness and another think all know mr KiddaC boss health is not very well we are all pray for him very soon All is well
