  • Picons not showing

    I had to remove my sd card from the box which contained my picons, I then downloaded a new picon set to the hard drive. When I view the channels the Picons wont show, Ive looked on the hard disk and the picon folder is there so im guessing the Vu is looking for the picons on the sd card still.


    Anyone know how I can tell the Vu to look at the hard drive instead?


    Im using a Vu Duo with the latest blackhole image.

    Hi all, just double checking that CCcam 2.2.1 is safe?


    Reading on other forums about backdoors into ccam and a few people questioned CCcam 2.2.1.

  • Vix voice over feature

    Do you mean the audio for programmes?


    If that is so this isnt a Vix feature its because their are 2 audio streams broadcast, one for the deaf and hard of hearing and the other for normal viewing.


    I use Blackhole and I press the Audio button on the remote and select the other audio stream. I would think its the same on Vix, only problem is when the box resets I have to do it again on some channels.

  • EPG problem on Blackhole 1.71

    Just a update on my issue.


    When I was going to open tv their were 2 options for Sly at 28. 28.2 and 28.4. I was selecting both and getting my problems. After playing around I just clicked on 28.2 and removed the tick for 28.4 and tried again. Everything then worked perfect. So I think 28.4 was the problem.

  • EPG problem on Blackhole 1.71

    Hi,


    I had it setup to store to USB but for some reason it kept loosing the USB location in Cross EPG, so now everything is setup for the Hard drive.


    I just tried downloading anything that had UK and I managed to get about 50% of the EPG. Unable to get any Irish channel EPG.

  • EPG problem on Blackhole 1.71

    Morning all,


    Trying to get my epg setup on the Blackhole 1.71 image, however everything I try seems to do nothing and the EPG stays blank.


    I have tried the open TV setup by pressing blue and red and nothing happpens, i have even tried setting up cross epg and only a few now and next data appears on some channels.


    I have even gone back to basics and followed the excellent guide found on this site for setting up cross EPG and still nothing appears.


    Any adivce on what im doing wrong?

  • How to prevent a line form going to other boxes in home.

    Hi all,


    I share my current card to all the rooms in my house including the kids rooms.


    I also have a line from a friend for other stuff , but at the moment this line is also being transmitted to my other boxes which I dont want.


    How can I prevent this line from my friend being reshared?

  • Blackhole 1.71 oscam issue

    Ok, just a little update for all.


    I went into the TS Panel and Linuxsat support have their own section in there!


    I downloaded a new Oscam/CCam that is percific to sly and reset reader to this new one. And yes it works!


    Hope this helps others!.


    Oscam6059/cccam213 is the one i downloaded.

  • Blackhole 1.71 oscam issue

    Hi all,


    just upgraded to Blackhole 1.71 on my vu duo, everything working so far except its not reading my sly card.


    I reset and put my card in both slots but nothing is happening. I used the back up version of Oscam for sly and tring.


    Any ideas?

  • Blackhole 1.66 upgrade to latest image problem.

    Hi all,


    Bored today so I thought I would upgrade my blackhole 1.66 to the latest blackhole image.


    I install the new firmware onto my usb and switch the Duo back on, it flashes a few times but then my duo just boots up as normal and ignores the new firmware install files on my usb.


    I have checked all the obvious such as the usb being FAT32 and the files being in the correct folders.


    Is there something im doing wrong?

  • Dm500 and Dreambox Edit problem

    Well I Finally managed to get it working!


    I unplugged both boxes and switched of my PC for 30 minutes. After switching back on everything worked again. Very Weird!

  • Dm500 and Dreambox Edit problem

    Hi all, looking for some advice thanks.


    I run 2 DM500 in my kids rooms and normally update the channels when a few changes have been made using Dreambox Edit. Normally everything works fine.


    The 2 DM500`s are using different images.


    When I do a automatic channel scan all the channels that are found are stored in the last scanned folder on the DM500. However when I upload the channels to Dreambox Edit the last channels folder is empty.


    Furthermore If I try to change anything in the channel setup and send this to either DM500 nothing changes, the Dm500 dosent update anything.


    I have tried all the obvious such as reboots, reinstalling Dreambox edit to the latest version and still the same issues happen.


    I really am pulling my hair out at the minute as I have never had this problem before!

  • Any way to control a Dm500 outside of the home?

    Got a real technical sort of question here but need some sort of easy step answer if there is such a way!



    I have a line going from my Vu Duo to my father Dm500 in another country using a DNS account. I basically share with him my service.


    Recently there have been some freq changes to the channels, but obviously on his box I am unable to update because I am in another country. My father wouldnt have a clue on how to update the Freq and update his channel list.


    Is there any way I can connect to his Dm500 from my PC and forward the new channel list to his box?


    I know all his IP details and box password and username as I set them up myself.
