I have my Sly Card inside my Vu Duo.

My Vu uses the Blackhole 1.66 image for sly UK set up from this site.

Last night I left my Vu switched on to Sly News HD, when I went to it today I found that sly news was still on but the blue circle in the top left hand corner was spinning, I could do nothing with the Vu at all. After 5 minutes I decided to turn my Duo off at the back and I left it for 20 seconds befire switching it back on.

When it rebooted the box came on but no channels showed including free channels. So I reset the box again and gave it 2 minutes before switching it back on.

This time I could get free channels but my sly card wasnt decoding any sub channels.

After restarting the box for a while I thought I would make sure it wanst my sly card so I popped it back into my sly box. Everything worked ok.

I even tried using the card in the other slot and this worked for basic channels but couldnt decode premium channels so it appears its my Oscam that is having the problem.

I then ended up putting my sly card into a dm500 and sending a c line to my vu duo and this worked ok.

Any Ideas what could be wrong with my Vu Duo? Why has it stopped decoding my Sly Card?

I reflashed it and it found it.

Think it must have corrupted as it was flashing across.

Just installed this image but when i go into var/etc I dont have a cccam file.

Am I going in the wrong place?

Try using one of the already setup images in the images section. Im using the UK ready blackhole 1.66 and it works perfect for me.

Just a little update, ive managed to find the channels in the data part of dreambox edit, so i can add them that way but its strange how it wont display last scanned channels on the vu.

Just tried to do a scan with the new blackhole image, everything scanned ok and the channels I wanted were found, however on exiting the scan option the channels were no where to be found, the last scanned folder showed the same channels I had scanned previous.

I tried doing a Automatic scan and the same thing happens, the channels are found but when you exit to the bouquets nothing is there accept old scans.

I decided to delete the last scanned bouquet to see if a new one would be created and nothing happened. The scan didnt create a new Last Scanned bouquet.

Am I doing something wrong with this image?

Was on Vix for the past few months since I got my Duo, was happy enough but quite a few crashes especially when switching between DTT and sat, I upgraded to blackhole the other day and I have to say im impressed. More plugins actually work including mytube!

I have heard that Vix are due to release a new image also, but for now im delighted with this new blackhole image, it does everything I want an looks and feels good.

Found it thanks, I was using the worng plugins menu.

Most likely a stupid question, and I have searched around but couldnt find an answer.

Is it possible to use a Vuo Uno Image for a Vuo duo? And If so would I be missing anything?

Im looking at the Blackhole Uno UK setup Image to work on my vuo duo.

Dont pay any attention to the label = lower card, you can change the label to anything you like.

Ive just installed this image and inside oscam server I see this

The channels should be stores in the last scanned bouquet, just move them with your normal channel editor.

Ok just a little update.

I reinstalled the origional Vu firmware, I then upgraded to the new Vix 2.2 firmware.
Then I installed this UK Vix firmware.

Everything now works perfect, no green screens, full epg and even Irish DTT using my Sony Play TV.

So a thumps up from me for this firmware and thanks Phonix for the Disney Bootscreen!

I went for this because it was all setup nice and easy, not to mention I didnt think the box would self reboot so much.
