Obvious benefits are it frees up your box so you don't have to worry about reflashing or updating anything and it being offline!

Also..depending on your box, the lighter load will certainly do it no harm in the long term...

I'm however with Muso on the lost hop issue...if they could find a way around that I'd have a server built tomorrow but until I see my hop 2's disappear from use I'll have to stick with an all in one solution!

You could pick up a second hand PC cheap or build your own with something like an Atom chip for not a lot!

What card(s) do you have? Some readers work better with certain cards!

Thats really down to who's going and where they're coming from! I would say Saturday for the main meet but if there are groups coming from here there and everywhere then of course it will likely turn into a weekend thing!!

eg...if we go to Dublin I'm happy to help organise and sort out a trip to the Guinness Brewery, maybe a gig at Temple Bar Music Centre etc etc...theres plenty to do...

If we go to Liverpool then it would be handy for someone that end to take the lead and recommend accommodation, things to do blah blah blah etc etc...

If we go to Amsterdam I assume we have members here who have been and can thrown their 2c into the mix!

We'll see what numbers are like first...if its only up to a dozen people then its not going to be hard...if we end up with 50 going it might be a challenge lol

what image are you using?

BoxNation won't open with OSCam & CCcam unless you give out N lines (don't do that) so you need to use NCam with OScam :(

You say they can't see ESPN either though?

what config files are you using? (where did you get them!)

And finally...I have similar problems with OSCam and BlackHole...I had to move image in the end...others will say the opposite so it can be quite hit and miss!

After casually throwing this around recently it seems theres a fair bit of interest in a board night out beer10

Since there are a lot of members from the UK and Ireland I've added a poll for a meet either in Liverpool or Dublin!

If you can attend either, vote for both and we'll go with the most popular location!

As for the date, sometime towards the end of April, start of May seems to suit best so I'll suggest last weekend in April (27th-29th) or first weekend in May (4th-6th)

We can sort out where to go, how to get there, where to stay and who's travelling with who once we get past the first hurdle :snicker:

Very strange....I can't say I had the issue when I had a Duo and Ultimo using their own remotes and various Harmony devices!!

As TB says, generally he can 'only' accept an N line if he's a card faker....

I really wouldn't trust too many people with an N line unless you know them personally...just not worth the bother no matter how good the share seems to be!

I've made picons for the HD and SD channel as I see SGTFlipFlop has the 2 channels in his E2 settings but they're just blank screens...

If you have TSpanel installed, you can do it from within the addon -

* Load TSpanel and go to System Tools
* Go to Screen Grabber and enable 'ScreenShot'
* choose a folder for each screen grab (usually /tmp)
* choose the button you want to activate a screen grab with

Once you have taken all the grabs you need, you can download them all from your chosen directory via ftp!

Cheers for replying MG...I seem to have sorted it...time for some Yoga!!

After enabling OSCam to autostart and rebooting...then enabling CCcam to autostart and once again rebooting I sort of have it getting there...

Now in OSCam, for my Sly UK card it says "ERROR (no entitlements)"

I've then removed the cards and put them back in 1 by 1 and refreshed the entitlements in OSCam (which seemed to progress) and rebooted (for good measure)

its now working....cue Benny Hill music!! beer10

For my sins I've decided to revisit this today....what a mistake! ;)

Summary -

* I've installed the latest VIX OSCam/CCcam from the Linuxsat Support repo on TS Panel
* I've enabled OSCam & CCcam in the Softcam Manager
* I have Sly UK and JSC Sports cards

No matter how I edit my configs I can't see any cards active in CCcam -

I'm working on a decent update for tomorrow to include all +1 channels reworked and recent logo changes!

If you have any gaps in your picons, please let me know....I use Catseyes and they're complete but there appears to be some discrepancy between bouquet creators!

Sounds like a bug...Coolman is German AFAIK so reporting it on the right forum will likely cause a headache! You could eMail him direct (his eMail is on the nag screen after you've closed the settings) and ask him to fix for the next release...

In the meantime you might need to downgrade!
