dont know if you can but any idea of link for latest version ?
If you want HD sound with your rips you'll need to download a custom build that has bitstreaming!
That'll get you started though :)
Does anyone rip full HD ISO's? I don't do MKV's for movies so would be interested to hear from anyone with a decent library who facies a bit of trading! I've nearly 1500 full ISO rips at the minute...all ripped by hand and all from my own purchases or rentals so quality guaranteed!
Once you install that Carmine...stick the Aeon skin on and see what you think....ask away with the questions but you'll need a few movies / tv series on your hard drive so you can see how it works!

Thanks for replying.
I think I already updated when I installed 1.66, but just tried again and the same thing happens the duo ignores my usb and boots up as normal despite all the folders being correct.

Sorry folks my own stupidity, I forgot I had a usb in the back!

format the USB in your computer again,
ensure the directory structure is vuplus/duo/files and try flashing again,
also make sure you have no other USB devices attached when flashing!
If you've done all that and it still boots without flash....try a different USB port!

Is there a way that I can reload the epg saved on the usb stick instead of re-downloading epg after power down?

I'm selling my superb Vu+ Duo...bought from a UK supplier on the 13/05/11 so theres still a few months warranty left! (I'll print a copy of the receipt and include in the box!)
The condition of the Duo is 9.5 / 10 - there are 2 small scratches at the back of the lid and a light mark across the middle of the lid
The remote is 8 / 10 - there are some surface marksIt comes fully boxed with all bits and bobs!
I fitted a 1.5TB Samsung drive when it arrived and its nice and quiet
I'll flash it with whatever image you like so let me know what your preference is!
I'm looking for £300 delivered to anywhere in the UK, I'll post anywhere in Europe to a member with over 100 posts,

I'm going to be cruel to be kind here...read up on how to manually install plugins for your image,
The first thing I do when upgrading my image is install TS Panel...you'll find 90% of what you ever need therein!

A swap file is useful if you're running out of ram but won't make any difference to flash!

it's the flash memory I can't install any plugins ,I've get an message : because my flash memory is 99% . will try to install BH 1.7.2 tomorrow .I have installed some plugins like TS Panel and a couple of others .
Thx m8I've had this before where the image has been faulty for whatever reason....just make sure you aren't filling your flash with picons!

I've got problem with my Uno . I have installed BH 1.7.0 image and no extra skin . It runs Well , but couldn't install any thing because my flash. memory is 99% in use !! I've tried to un-install some plugins but nothing helps to reduce this huge memory lost .
I have a 250 gb hd .
Have I done something wrong ? And what to do to Keep the memory low ?

If its flash and you've installed nothing else, its an issue with your image and I'd recommend upgrading to 1.7.2
if its ram, don't worry...most of it is being reserved ready for use rather than being used and you're in trouble if you do anything :)

Hi, i just wanted to access it as my main tv guide rather than having to access it on my epg throught he blue button,only thing ive configured is the remote to use the dvd tv ect, thanks.
I would advice you install the latest version which will allow you to assign any button to its activation! eg. I press red and it loads...
5.5.0 is the latest version available through the Linuxsat Support section of TSPanel's Enigma2 add-on or here

I have this in my CCcam.cfg
CodeWEBINFO LISTEN PORT : 20001
This is the same port as i have in the CCcamwebinfo.config file in /www,but as i type my ip adres:16001,its working,but not ip adress:20001...have you tried rebooting your box?

I must say this works pretty damn well!
I'm able to stream HD content from locals and peers with minimal breakup!
Streaming foreign sats works fine so will definitely be handy for streaming downstairs as its only connected to 28E!
My only complaint is its not overly 'user friendly' so I can't ever see my wife using the feature lol

sandman --if you have 2 boxes ,then why not simply use the one that you´re NOT experimenting with as a server ;)
thats what I was doing!
Problem then was the Ultimo wouldn't read N lines from the Duo (server)! All I could get was a C line....
very odd....

In softcam ci set Oscam to autostart first then CCcam, try these configs and IPK i made.
Thanks MG but no dice unfortunately...no ecms are served for some weird reason....
I'll have to stick BH back on as I can't have the downtime!! I'll maybe have to build a server at some point soon....

Last night at 2am I was pretty bored so I decided to give VIX another go!
My first issue is OSCam & CCcam just don't want to work with my Sly & JSC cards running together so I thought, forget that for the minute and stuck my cards into the Duo so its working as the server...
After deleting the configs on the Ultimo, I reinstalled OSCam & CCcam and just put a simple cccam.cfg file on the box...
It has 2 N lines to my 2 cards in the Duo and a C line for shares from peers via the Duo...
Everything *looks* setup fine, I can see the cards active in CCcam....
If I delete the C line, I get nothing....here are my OSCam logs -
