As far as I am aware there are no restrictions, it is password protected for getting on internet on computer but that shouldnt interfere with what I need

I just received the news today that yet again I have to work all over christmas this year. I really want to watch the sport on boxing day, so here is what I am thinking. On the machines I operate, there is an internet connection on the computer and obviously a monitor too. One machine will be off so I can use it to play with. Would it work if I was to get a box and connect it with the internet cable and by using an adapter run it through the monitor. Now, in my mind I cant see a problem with this but I want to put it out there and see what you all think.

Hi guys, I'm not so sure if any of the following will make sense or even be possible, but here goes anyway. I have been thinking lately that I would like to try and config my own box so that I can stream all the channels to it. Is it possible to just vet a blank box per say so that I could load it with my own files or even load something like xbmc on to it. I have done a brief search but came up with nothing

So I have brought the box downstairs and plugged it into my other Ariel and it is working. I have a twin cable and a separate single cable, if that makes sense to you, running from my dish, 2 to my solo2 and 1 to my solo. It appears that for whatever reason my double cable is dead as I have tried both of them.

Have reflashed it several times today, so it must be connection problem at the dish or could it possibly be in the box itself?

ok just went through the connection and pulled about 15ft of spare cable from the attic and cut it off just in case something happened to the cable. My other box is working fine but still nothing. Too dark (and high up) to check the dish

Every time i try to do a scan in the ABM i get the failed tuner timelock message. When i do a normal scan i cant get any channels and i know my tuner config is ok. This is on my solo and i checked it against my solo2

just tried another and it is ok but i still have no channels

Now it says found non standard softcam

will give that a go now, does it matter which cccam file is in the usr/softcam file?

Hi all, i recently lost all channels on my VU+ Solo and decided to do a reflash, so i did with VIX image. After the flash i still have no channels and i have narrowed it down to 2 possible problems.
1) When i start scan to find channels i get an error message saying failed tuner timelock.
2) When i go to my Softcam manager i get an error msg there too

I have Cccam file ftp to the etc file.

Its cause i just dont have a clue

Has anybody got a fix for icefilms? It just crashes my box every time i load it.

Running on a VU+ Solo2 using latest VIX image

I have been trying to catch up on the older series of the big bang theory as myself and the wife are now totally hooked on it. The problem is that not many streams will play for me and i have missed a lot of episode3s because of this. Either using 1Channel or icefilms i can only get movreel, putlocker and filenuke (sometimes) to work, the rest of the streams say playlist not supported. Are there some other plugins i need to install as i have already downloaded Librtmp files in 1Channel. I am running on a VU+Solo2 with VIX image. Also in 1Channel it gives the option to download (blue button) but that does nothing for me either when i try it.
