    I think it's important this comes out... People need to see and hear the facts of what vix do and how they operate and try to bully. Now the forum has sold their soul to WoS (we all know that WoS and vix are one of the same) does that now mean that they can no longer be questioned ? If that is the case then you can go ahead and close my account.

    WoS and ViX forum are not the same.

    These are old arguments and can stay off this forum. I am sure lots of us have seen them before.

    I am, and I am sure the rest of the team are getting fed up of being accused of acting in such a way as so to please a sponsor.

    This forum is for support, not for arguing, and I posted my last post to keep this on topic - this is for support of a plugin, not to debate about who should get credit for it.

    Anyone who wants to close their account are welcome.

    do you mean put the server box on the glitchy channel then get log, If so i can't do that because theres no sat feed going to it, its just a server with a broken tuner?
    Thanks

    No - put the client box on a glitchy channel and get the logs from the server.

    keepalive = 1 is as it says - keeps alive the connection between Oscam and CCcam - worth a try can't hurt - also ensure that the server listen port in CCcam is different to the port you have set in newcamd.

    You can get output from oscam on the status page in webif

    mhz = 600 in CCcam.cfg is not needed - I am taking it your card is being read in Oscam

    some would have newcamd set up as follows in oscam.conf

    Code
    [newcamd]
    port                          = 10000@0963:000000
    key                           = 0102030405060708091011121314
    keepalive                     = 1

    Are you using CCcam as a server and creating flines for clients or are you using Oscam and setting up clients in Oscam.user?

    you could try using the force overwrite command to install the ipk

    Code
    opkg install -force-overwrite /tmp/enigma2ipkfile.ipk

    for example

    and when I say end users, I am not implying that we are not capable of putting a few files in folders, changing permissions etc - I just mean that the coding is usually left to the coders:baffle:

    Essentially, the app is depending on the stream being there. Sometimes you will try to watch something thinking there is a stream because there is a title and picture in the menu, but when you try to watch it, if it isn't there, then you may get error message. Not sure where you can get the info you are looking for about how long things remian - but sometimes it can be an error by the provider - I know that iplayer often has streams missing that appear to be there initially. Remember that this app is still in the preview/alpha stages, and should be seen as work in progress - and it is primarily being tested with ViX image. If you are adapting this to work with other images, then you may find it longer to get help if things go wrong as most of the staff and members here are primarily end users, not coders - you might want to look here if you haven't already

    Code
    https://github.com/oe-alliance/oe-alliance-plugins/tree/master/OnDemand

    Clearly a step you are missing - .....

    "CCcam Oscam Ubuntu 12.04 amd64.zip" needs to be downloaded, unzipped, and using winscp the contents need to be copied to /tmp on ubuntu, and edited according to the guide - read over the guide again.

    bellodreambox there is no point starting multiple threads and posting the same problem or post or screenshot multiple times. The problem is that you are following a tutorial, and we are not able to look over you while you are installing the server. You are much better off starting from the beginning again if we are having trouble understanding where you have gone wrong, and read each step carefully.

    You are clearly missing a step because a file that should be in /tmp isn't there - so the screenshot just tells us what we already know...

    ok had a good read on forum and found the answer thanks for help great site pity all the boxes/images arent the same my memory aint that good these days will have to start writing short notes for each set up didnt realise cccam cfg file wasnt included in ipk file

    I think it might be included - look in /etc - CCcam.cfg is not in /var/etc on the ViX image it is in /etc - but saying that, there should also be a symlink to /etc from /var/etc
