after rebooting your server did you get any changes in the logs?

There is something wrong with the newcamd entry in oscam.conf
Code[newcamd] port = 44444@093E:000000;13005@0BAA:000000;34001@0500@030 B00 key = 0102030405060708091011121314 keepalive = 1highlighed in red is the mistake - but I have corrected as it should be for you so just deleta and replace with this
Code[newcamd] port = 44444@093E:000000;13005@0BAA:000000;34001@0500:030B00 key = 0102030405060708091011121314 keepalive = 1See how this changes things.

So long as you have the oscam.user accounts set correctly then this should be possible, although the original problem you have should still have a solution. Ask your friend if he has anticascading set up on his Oscam server. If this is the case then he might have it set incorrectly. Anticascading will send a client a fake ecm kick you for a while if you are making a lot of requests. You won't notice it on anything else because your card will be clearing it. If it is set up it might be too sensitive. I might be wrong, could be something else, but I suspect that if you tried to use your friend to clear other channels you would see the same problem.

when you are offering a cline to your peers you restrict their line by adding values to the fline - for example
the value above in red is 0 so stopping peers updating your card.
If your server is set up on your PC and you are creating a line for local viewing on your dreambox - then just create an fline on your server for your local receiver without any restrictions. You don't need to restrict yourself to anything!
If you have the rest of your configs right on your server then you will be fine. I am not 100 percent sure about how you have this set up - is your card being read in your receiver or on the PC server? If it is on your PC server, then you have no need to connect your receiver to Oscam with an nline, you can connect with a cline from the CCcam part of your server.

he need a high speed internet connection if you have forwarded all ports, then it have to work
Surely one of the ideas of Web TV is so you can control the quality therefore the bandwidth of the stream, so that it could in theory work on a slow connection. -
Worked first time for me - but lets see what others think! - I have gone back to bh 1.7.3 for now - I don't like eating what I have cooked in case I get food poisioning!
I chose the oscam versioin because there was a problem with the later 7xxx/CCcam.2.1.3 from the tspanel, where it wasn't starting properly, could have waited a bit longer and spent a bit of time getting this to work but I wanted to get the backup out there, so I used that version simply because it worked!

Enigma TV uses VLC to encode the stream, so because of this, the PC is the stream server, and the ports should be forwarded to the PC. Change the local stream and web ports to something different from the default - like 8081 and 81 for example, and forward these ports on your router to the IP address of your PC.

How can we get the ecmwhitelist from?
sorry, i am new in NDS
Thanks,
Post an intro first if you want to take part. -
There are some essentials such as Antivirus and anti spyware, I use Microsoft security essentials, and Spybot Search and destroy - drivers for my devices - Firefox - and of course I need the tools for this hobby, like WinSCP, CsStudio, DYNupdater and Dreambox Edit. FTP client filezilla - I also need a decent editor like notepad++, the windows live stuff. As a musician I need to install audacity and asio drivers, as well as sequencing software. For video viewing and editing I install the codec packs, windows media player classic and vlc, Anysoft Video Converter - compression tools like winrar and 7-zip, etc etc etc - could be here all day but I need lots of stuff !!! - there are many things I would pick up on the go as I need like easeus partition master, ext2fsd, word processing stuff, teamviewer, image editors - to name but a few. Everything I download is usually freeware - I don't generally use anything that is cracked or pirated, as there is usually a free alternative to a paid app.
Luckily I haven't needed to do a fresh install for a long time.

Of course I have been watching this as a possibility - considering I have run a server from a very low spec netbook, I would imagine that so long as it can run the software then there will be no problems. I want one!, although I won't ask my mrs for one as a xmas present when the time comes, because she will probably get me the one that you serve with custard!
-
2 things that might help but before this, consider it is probably true that with sly - most problems with updates are due to impatience!
2 0 1 { 0:0:2 } - if you set your flines with this, then your card could get emm updates from your peers - so long as you are allowing emms in your CCcam.cfg
I once had an issue with updating an MTV card being read in Oscam and connected to CCcam with nline/newcamd protocol. I tried with the CCcam protocal, connecting with a Cline instead, and it updated straight away. Not sure if changing my configs did this as I had only ordered the update 30 mins before so might only have been sent over the air by the time i changed my configs, but worth a mention.

I am using the Vu+ Duo - and with the BH image it works perfectly with a twin USB-T tuner - I have 2 twin USB-T tuners - both based on the Afatech AF9015 chipset that work. Other images crash the tuner on gui restart - but a full restart cures this.
If you are in need of a twin USB-T tuner once you have got your receiver - let me know - Like I said I have 2 of these tuners and I don't really need 2 so I'm sure we could strike a deal....
As for a DVB-T2 tuner - last I heard there were issues with these working at all, and not seen any updated information to suggest a DVB-T2 tuner works - I might be wrong and I am sure someone will correct me with specifics if I am.
-
Support is driven by the need for support, and unless we all decide to throw out our VU+ Duo receivers, then I can see this receiver continuing in its respectable longevity. There is progression, but this progression is often slow, and sometimes things don't take off. The Vu+ Duo might be getting on a bit in terms of specs, but it is still seen as a benchmark.

To be honest i would not use the TSpanel if you paid me, its a pile of crap with almost NO quality control of whats included. in fact most problems stem from users installing random trash from the TSpanel.
I am not one to get involved in politics, but I think that is a bold statement to make on a forum that contributes much to tspanel. Now it is difficult when we all have other stuff to do as well to get it right so that everything works for all users, but it certainly makes it easier for a lot of users to install plugins. It is always a good idea to back up, and this would apply to plugins installed from an image's own addons panel. using terms like trash and crap is by no means constructive, and it would help if you have a few examples to back up your statement that "most problems stem from users installing random trash from the TSpanel." -
thanks for your replies.
anyone knows how much ecm/hr a *** uk card can handle? dont have to be an exect number just a rough one to use as a benchmark
I don't think most of us would have reached that limit - I suppose when you start to see it smoking then you know you are in trouble!
-
You could rule out a hardware issue re LAN wired connection if you had a spare wireless dongle floating around somewhere.
-
Are you using Oscam with CCcam protocol, or CCcam as your server?
-
if you are using Oscam/CCcam, then you would usually just use Oscam as your cardreader, therefore, you would add clines and flines to the CCcam.cfg - as CCcam is the server.
-
I always disable DHCP on my receivers even if they are just client, and fix the MAC addresses for each receiver to a fixed IP on my router which matches the one I assigned on the receiver - never had any issues this way with conflicts as I am always in control.
-
what happens if you disable the share in the duo? Does it still freeze? Have you disabled DHCP on both receivers and assigned them both to unique fixed IP addresses?
