Yes I would assign a static ip not with a DM but with other boxes I have had problems with router assigned ip in that after a reboot the box has kept the previous assigned ip whilst the router has given it to another device.

Hi mate goto menu>info>softcam panel and chage the default python cam starter to init.d see if that helps,

At first I tought it would be full of unwanted plugins but after being assured by the author I installed and found it to be nice clean and stable image.

I am not absolutely sure for mgcamd but in cccam adding 256 at the end of the deskey would give priority to that line.

eg:
N: server.com 10000 user pass 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14 256

give it a go see if it works in mgcamd.

If you are going to use more then 1 line in mgcamd isn't the protocol this for newcamd.list?

Just tried it on Alien 1 (8900) using the OpenATV image works fine so can conclude it works on SH4 receivers.

Google and get the HP usb format tool its free to download and use, formatting usb sticks with this gets 99% of sticks working with the Alien.

Its probably a E2 image a reflash will cure it.

If you are using mgcamd in spark as well then copy the mg_cfg and the newcamd.list or camd.list whichever your line is in then ftp these when you use E2.

Not sure this will help with the evo but I had a similar problem with open atv and in menu>info>softcam panel I changed the default cam starter from python to init.d (not exact words not in front of my box at the mo) that fixed the problem.

ps it might be better if you haven't already to install the softcam feed and then install cams from the plugin menu for compatibility.

This is a closed source receiver so no openwebif or autobouquet maker.
