You will get plenty of sats from 42 east to 30w from that location mate(depending on dish size)/installation/.... from one of the pics it looks like your los is fine too...with a 80 or 90 cm and a good inverto black ultra lnb you will get 28.2/19.2/13e/16e/0.8 west and a few others which covers most of the main ones we want including hd ! need more pictures of your home to see whether another location might look less intrusive tho.

As caz has said it can also be setup dependant !

When i used cccam as a reader it was any version between 2.0.11 and 2.2.1 on e1/e2 boxes which pretty much done the same thing..on pc however i preferred version 2.0.11 and it was not because of the debate about it stealing cards as i have never done that, it was because i personally found it coped better/ even auto boot scripts worked well with that version and it did seem to be more stable.

Bin files in e2 boxes usually go to usr/bin and cccam configs in var/etc although some images differ location wise as stated above...pc bin files in var/bin and cccam config in var/etc.

I have also never had a problem chmod wise either when i stick to 755 for bin files and 644 for configuration files.

I have just installed version 7.7 and i am still getting the same error with 1channel...proxy appears to be ok so not sure what my issue is..i will try and uninstall then re-install the plugin again:(

hi guys - got a vu+ultimo with cable tuner, got latest blackhole image on there got the cables.xml files and have put them in var/tuxbox, ive got AutoBouquets_C2_UltraLite_201406011500 installed, ive run this from the green button as its shown as a plugin, i get the following see pic showing its created the boquets, but im not getting any channels clearing not even the FTA ones...SNR is showing at around 70%?...my cable tumer is configured correctly i think ?..any help, i have an active line to a vm server if you know what i mean..any advice..

FTA channels show SNR around 70%, but all the premium paid channels show SNR as 0%...???

Try an automatic scan inputting the correct net id and frequency for your area.

You can use windows very own scientific calculator to convert your boxid...note that it is not actually a boxkey although the software would suggest it is..also make sure you do not use any online id convertors as it is a surefire way of informing sly that your subscription is being tampered with.

I have done some reading up on this but not 1 that iv looked at explained a single thing to me what they can do. never mind i dont think il bother eny more, Il just stick with my f5s box. Thank you all eny way.

So what was the point in this thread? if you dont understand anything posted about e2 boxes then what can we do for you:58_002:

I do not know about the Webif, I do not use the Webif.

Why? if you are using oscam to read and serve cards then how do you actually know what is going on !.... or is oscam just reading your cards? either way you should be looking at what the oscam webif actually is :) especially if you use the software.

My config files, in Dreambox, are located in "etc/tuxbox/config/oscam".

    Sorry my nervousness.

Its best you post your config files anyway even if they do work in a different receiver...however try location etc/tuxbox/config

Install all config files to the config folder and restart.

The problems are no ecm info, no picture, no signal of cards detection, nothing at all.

I can sense you are getting a tad frustrated? you are best to leave that at the door before asking for help because you will be able to explain the issue more calmly with an end result of getting the help you need !

Webif? you have not mentioned this above?

Where are your config files located on this dreambox?

If you have been issued a newcamd line for slyuk then adapt your nline to look like this and add it to location usr/keys in newcamd.list file

    CWS = dyndns.org port username pass 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14 wan cardserver <---( add this line only editing server details ) also ensure deskey(01=14) is correct

Edit your mg_cfg file in usr/keys with data added below...your cline goes in cccamd.list...right click all files when edited and chmod to 644 = restart mgcamd

If you still have issues then try different versions of mgcamd as already advised below..if symptoms persist then it could also be an issue with your cam that has been adapted to suit your image of choice so you would probably have to chance your arm and contact the authors with a cam query...i dont use clines so cant test your issue i,m afraid.

Power supply issues are very common on dm500/800 units although faulty psu units usually mean the tuner wont play ball at all with total loss of signal or failure to power up which you do not appear to have...is there no free to air channels on that satellite which offer video?

Old pc monitor power supply units are the best ones to use on these boxes..if you have one that fits try it.

Another thing you should check is whether your newcamd/cline has not given up the ghost..i assume you have a copy of your CCcam.cfg/and or server details before you started flashing the unit?
