Check oscam.conf
unlockparental = 1
or
unlockparental = 0
restart oscam.

New eagleboxhd coming in October looks interesting.

Why restart server? confuses me why ppl do this.
Little known fact, Linux works better the longer it is running, only thing anyone in this game needs to restart is cams, even thats rare if setup properly.

Quick look, stick with tux commander.
-
Flash ssl82 (bootloader), use webpage or dreamup, should sort it.
-
Oscam must be the server to open picktv, it won't open as client only if the server is running cccam.

Glad you got it sorted, you can also just ftp to /media/hdd/ and then make the new movie folder.
-
Compile oscam yourself.
cd /usr/src
svn co h**p://www.oscam.to/svn/oscam/trunk oscam (change ** to tt)
cd oscam
mkdir build
cd build
cmake -DWEBIF=1 .. (2 dots required)
make
Now move oscam and your 3 files .user .conf and .server to whatever folders you use and move oscam to whatever folder you use..
ie
mkdir /bin/oscam
cp oscam /bin/oscam
cd /bin/oscam
chmod 755 oscam
and to start it
./oscam -b
To get oscam running on startup
nano /etc/rc.local
now just before exit add
/bin/oscam/./oscam -b
save and exit, now oscam will auto start on boot.

As said, if you followed my method and have it already formatted as ext3, do not try formatting or initialising the hdd, go straight to device manager and mount the drive.

True about the security, always avoided this webmin as it looked like it made things to easy, I like it though, should be very handy, nice one.

CCcamInfo for Gemini
h**p://www.megaupload.com/?d=NKJGZEFN
file is a tar.bz2 file instead of a tar.gz file.
To install it, copy the file into /tmp and do 'bunzip2 CCcam_Info_1.00.tar.bz2'
Then gzip the file 'gzip CCcam_Info_1.00.tar'Now you can install it via the blue button -> Software -> Manual install

Handy, just ordered one of those, nice one.

Webmin - webmin configuration - ports and addresses
Really not that hard to find tbh mate.
I wouldn't suggest enabling the root account, should learn how to work in linux and you'll find it's easier than it's made out to be.

Just installed this out of curiosity, followed the guide and dl the latest webmin
wget h**p://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/webadmin/webmin_1.560_all.deb
change ** to tt
then
sudo dpkg -i webmin_1.560_all.deb
Worked fine.
Permission denied will be because you are not working as root, change to sudo -i and enter your own password and that should sort it.
[edit] Just to add, change port 10000 and forward new port to server, block 10000 and connect to new port from anywhere :)

No idea about those apps, I use putty for terminal sessions and filezilla for ftp.
