Need info on VU+ JTag Broadcom Tools ( Solved )

    hi everybody i need some help please
    i ve receide my jtag today for my vu+duo clone... it s not the same like the one on the tuto, here a picture of mine so i cant see where to plug the red cable

    BBS pinout
    1 is 3v3==========you can use a meter !!!!!, or poz 10 inside {near procesor} counted from cuart . THIS IS RED wire- in case of your Board, from photo.
    2 is BSC_SCL======pozition 7 from Cuart
    3 is BCS_SDA======idem
    4 is GND==========this is easy :))))

    Is usb cable a (usb-usb) cable to Pc ?

    yes, the black cable- from picture is a USB -USB mini {or Micro} that connect Cypress with PC

    voila, one morning, after a stormy night, I found my VU + DUO with a red LED on the display and "starting", I can no longer flascher with usb + Util + seen there.
    with a jtag you think I can get it?
    if so, where to find the file: Broadcom Studio 3
    I found all the other files, I lack that here.

    Je voudrais connaitre quelqu'un qui l'a déjà fait pour lui racheter son jtag.
    Avec Ebay il faut presque 1mois pour le recevoir.
    Une question aux modérateurs : sur le site faut il écrire en Français ou en Anglais, merci.

    Hi can you tell me, why deleted my post? I wrote then I have problem with status conected. I Connect via manual on this thread, but state is only red no connected. Can you advice me, where is err? On Vu+duo only light red led. Com port and other perifer is death, hyper terminal is nothing write. I use on Windows 7. May I use in Win XP?
    Drivery is OK, and connect too. Thanks for your advice and sorry, if mustnt write here.

    For ALL. I have yet one full function peace vu+duo. But if I connected via board, it same problem with no connect in studio 3. Can you tell me, if this procedure is function on full function vu+ duo. Can you anybody test with repair peace and report?

    Hi, I'm a bit concerned about the license terms of the Broadband Studio, as I can't find any offcial reference from Broadcom. Is it OK to use and/or share it? Can anybody shed some light on this?

    j'ai effectué et respecté la procédure du jtag avec tous les éléments mais quand je connecte la vu+duo au Cypress CY7C68013A EZ-USB FX2LP USB2.0 je n'ai pas de connexion?
    comment savoir si c'est un problème d'alimentation, ma vu+duo est resté allumée led rouge et "starting " sur la facade suite à un orage,je n'ai plus de liaison avec la prise usb ainsi que la prise rs232, j'ai remplacé le condensateur 807 .
