For some reason time for the next and later program times seems to be missing on most skins on openvix
Hi, I just installed latest version of Openvix on my VU+ Ultimo 4K box. I installed Slyk 1080 skin from the system plugins and when I restarted the box it crashes and keeps restarting in a boot loop. I really like this skin and have been using it for years but since I updated Openvix I’m having this problem.
Is this a known issue and if so can you help?

It will tell you in the log what is missing, which will prevent the rest of the screen loading.

In that plugin you can turn on - Enable Screen Names Debug.
That will give you the screen name to look for in the skin files.

I can’t get into the OS to change any settings or turn debug logs on. This is a grab of what I’m seeing when crashing if that is any help.
Do you know how to FTP to box and delete the skin? And did you install shared components before installing skin?

If installed via plugins feed shared components are installed automatically.

Hi, I do yes. Thanks I managed to sort it out by deleting Slyk18RemainingToText.py file
I'm slightly puzzled, kiddac said install that file but you say you deleted it and that got you sorted!! But glad your fixed. That Vix is beginning to bug me. I cant get epg importer working on duo4kse but ok on Openatv 7.3
The older version of the file was incompatible with recent changes. Removing it meant the crash was avoided, however the affected elements in the skin will not work.
With regards to EPG importer, the plugin is shared across OE-A images. Switching to another image on the same branch will mean you are using the same plugin. Anyway, best you have a separate thread for that issue. Sources is not EPG data!
Yeah I’ll explain. I posted question on here then found the solution elsewhere and applied the fix and it worked. Then later on the next day I saw Kidda’s post.
I won't be able to flash cix6.8.009 till tomorrow morning I tried the ipk with 6.8.008 I still have the next and later times using kiddac-shared-skin-components v1.15
i`m using latest vix 6.8.009 and by uploading kiddac`s latest "Slyk18RemainingToText.py" amended file fix , onyx works again, it used to get caught in a gui-crash loop until i uninstall it from my computer`s terminal via telnet, so yea i confirm it works

why not uninstall and try updated plugin from feeds

Openvix doesn't do daily updates so it's likely not going to be in feeds till next release. Ipk should work.
Flashed Vix6.8.009 then installed kiddac-shared-skin-components v1.15 no crash. I still seem to have issues with the times on EPG selection screen. Slyk Onyx seems to be ok if that helps.
I'll try a flash and no settings restore to see if my backup is causing issues if no one else is having the issue.
