    Maybe its your broadband m8 post your config files what are you using cccam newcamd? post oscam server file be sure to xxx out any info like boxkey

  • ok you are running thre smargo as a usb to serial device not a true usb device. This is my server config.

    label=***_uk

    description = smargo

    protocol=SmartReader

    device=001:005

    In oscam go to the reader option and list usb devices you should see something like this...

    USB Devices
    Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub
    iProduct 2 EHCI Host Controller
    iSerial 1 0000:00:04.1
    Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub
    iProduct 2 OHCI Host Controller
    iSerial 1 0000:00:04.0
    Bus 001 Device 003: ID 1a40:0101 TERMINUS TECHNOLOGY INC. USB-2.0 4-Port HUB
    iProduct 1 USB 2.0 Hub
    iSerial 0
    Bus 002 Device 002: ID 1ea7:0002
    iProduct 1 2.4GHZ Keyboard & Mouse Combo
    iSerial 0
    Bus 001 Device 004: ID 1a40:0101 TERMINUS TECHNOLOGY INC. USB-2.0 4-Port HUB
    iProduct 1 USB 2.0 Hub
    iSerial 0
    Bus 001 Device 005: ID 0403:6001 Future Technology Devices International, Ltd FT232 USB-Serial (UART) IC
    iProduct 0
    iSerial 3 Reader 224

    reconfigure your oscam server like mine but use the bus id and device id that yours lists

  • These readings are from your server directly ! so they will be lower than the actual recievers times (Just to clarify) my server has the same times as you have posted but the reciever will report 0.154- 0.170 (in realtime) this is using Omnikey reader with powered USB hub.

    hope this helps.

    Hi pacman it seems from his post his ecm times are high at the server. I cant think of anything else to suggest to lower them hes clocking his card to 6.86 which is higher than I do. I know sometimes people say not to overclock as it can be counter productive due to higher error rate. I take your point on where you measure the ecm times but I spose its relative. lower at server should be lower at box but a true time would be at the box.

  • Also if he has massive hops set on the server that won't help !! I would test without other connections (if he has any others) and then add the servers/peers 1x1 untill his times increase then he will know what the problem is.
