However, when I select "Plugin" from the menu, I still get the error message:

contact pli as for uninstalling is not that easy try in virtual keyboard settings select normal keyboard then try ,
deleating /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/SystemPlugins/NewVirtualKeyBoard folder because you need to disable newvirtual keyboard as it softlink and taken over normal virtual keyboard .
Epgsearch or epgimport
I just tried epgsearch on openatv and no problems

Ok found link rytec.channels.xml so you need to update rytec sources
I thought I was no longer able to import the EPG because of the NewVirtualKeyboard installation. However, it was a coincidence: the EPG was no longer imported because it was the 'rytec.sources.xml' file that was causing the problem and doglover has fixed it.
When I want to uninstall a product that doesn't have an uninstaller, I reload a previous backup. I can also do this for products that do have one, as there may be traces of it in multiple folders.
With the standard keyboard, when I go to the EPG, the blue key allows me to search in the EPG (search for 'Moto GP', for example, to find the channel and broadcast time), but with NewVirtualKeyboard, the blue key displays 'Select channel'. Why? It's really annoying not being able to search in the EPG any more.
And for your information, if I go to Hotkey, the 'Search in EPG' feature isn't present, whereas it is with the standard file.

Yes, it's a shame this application is no longer available in IPK, it's easier to uninstall. Do you know if there have been many updates between 10.1 (it exists in IPK) and 13.1? And is it complicated to generate an IPK? I'm not very familiar with Unix and its derivatives.
Is the skin you're talking about is the skin of my image (Pli)? Pli doesn't offer me the XDREAMY skin. I can try others, but I don't really see why changing the keyboard would change the skin's function. I think the applications manage the functions.

No offence taken have you tried going into graphicalEPG settings to see what oprion are available for buttons

As I explained yesterday (2024/03/22) at 1:15 PM, the Hotkey plugin that allows you to change button functions no longer displays the 'search EPG' function when the NewVirtualKeyboard keyboard is selected. When I switch back to the standard keyboard, it appears.

It's odd that the XDreamy skin isn't listed in the OpenPli extensions menu. I'll try installing it using your link later.

You mean the select tasks screen that precedes the menu. In my opinion, you can leave that out completely and just move the options to the actual menu.
Already what you have asked in plugin
* open plugin settings then press yellow button (Virtual keyboard)
* after that you have two buttons (Menu and info) if you press menu you will find the google options search
* Menu button
* info button
So no need to add any more extra options ...
I am familiar with the settings you are showing.
But I also wrote that I would like to see things differently and would like to have various other options as well.
I believe that this would improve usability considerably and expand the range of functions and variability.
Of course, it's your plugin and you can decide for yourself what you want to add or not. :)

I agree with your suggestions, although some of them are already in place.
Especially regarding the use of colored and special buttons, the approach you recommend would be preferable.
In addition, translation of the GUI into other languages should be added. I couldn’t wait, so I’ve already done it in my native language for personal use.
In this screenshot from kiddaC, the green dots show which languages are installed and which are not. This display of the green dots does not work in the latest version v13.1 either. Is this a bug or intentional?
But maybe in next version I will add it (not sure)

About translatable I will do it same as my plugin (RaedQuickSignal) .. new option to change language of plugin and I will add only English (default) file and my language (Arabic) ..
The other language will depend on you. Everyone who wants his language should translate the English file and upload it to the source and I will accept it... or send it here...
