Go to network settings on your box and change DNS my friend, put this: DNS a) 1.1.1.1 and DNS b) 1.0.0.1

It's the only way to unblock opensubtitles...

I use google dns servers they also work 8.8.8.8 8.8.4.4

It's all cleared up now. The reason was a VPN that was blocking opensubtitles.

On the old DD subtitle player plugin there was indeed an imdb option subtitles I made a modification on the plugin Subssupport 1.5.8 py3 by adding the info button for tmdb even him I modified it by adding the foreign languages

New SubsSupport 1.5.8 Plugin python 3 and python 2.7

- Fix Subscene, Podnapisi, Titulky

- add button info for tmdb

- add button green captcha solver in Titulky

- add langage tmdb 1.01, 1.04

- change skin tmdb

mino60 , would you not be better renaming actual ipk files to perhaps:

enigma2-plugin-extensions-subssupport_1.5.8-r5-py3_all.ipk

and

enigma2-plugin-extensions-subssupport_1.5.8-r5-py2.7_all.ipk

and also rename tmdb zip file to include version numbers

members could be running multiboot systems using both python 2.7 and python3xxx and will not know what python version of subssuport they have downloaded.

I uninstalled subsupport on latest version of openatv 7.3 that was downloaded from feeds and tried to install latest version posted here it would not install cannot satisfy dependencies also tried both versions just in case they were mixed up

I ended up unpacking IPK and copying SubsSupport folder over manually but it is at least now working

also there is control file in data

but version 1.5.8-r5 from here does work but just problem installing via ipk but manually replacing usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions

thanks but still same error as in post RE: [Plugin] Subssupport still dependencies error i repacked enigma2-plugin-extensions-subssupport_1.5.8+git155+da62ab8-r0_cortexa15hf-neon-vfpv4.ipk available from feeds and it does install on gigablue quad uhd 4k with openatv 7.3

not sure if anything to do with this commit https://github.com/oe-alliance…3699c8b706e4e1791fad002e6
