    While I scratch my head and try to find out why the braintrust screwed up oscam.emu after working good for several years.....

    Maybe someone could help me figure out a good config. for what we can get over here. No cards, no Internet subs.
    PV, biss, tb....whatever. They have me so confused right now I don't even know much past pv and biss what the hell we are able to get.
    Matter of fact I'd like to clean up all of the "garbage" that isn't needed in the files.
    I've already rebuilt my softcam keys file. As well as cleaned up and added tp's to the satellites.xml file to speed up future scanning.
    Damn!!!

    I never use "oscam.dvbapi".

    Here is my oscam.config file:

    Again: keep it as minimum as you need.

    Another issue may be that you have a biss line in your softcam.key file for another channel with same id# (#1) as "altitude", before the pv section, as the oscam is reading the file from the bottom to the top !

    Can you watch any channels from that tp ?

    What is webif showing in "SERVID:CAID@PROVID" section : 0001:2600 or 0001:0E00:000000 ?

    The problem is precisely that configuration in the tab "oscam.dvbapi." Comment out everything related to 2600 or simply don't use it...oscam is no longer intended for use with emu, but rather for other types of encryption.

    We will do that.I am confused because I was under the impression that you could add BISS keys to softcam and decode programs?I can see I have conflicting info because one channel on the SES 18(3) mux doesn't open.but all the others are.Is the difference in the oscam dvbapi shown by lme is because of editing or a newer oscam version?Thank you for the enlightenment.I am determine to stick with enigma2 receivers.

    I've understood that oscam reads from bottom to top for a long time.

    To answer your question. Yes, I can watch the other channels on the tp.

    Yeah. Strange. I have DVB-Api write detected provid to srvid checked. Mostly because that's what I was told to do some years ago.
    And to wipe the oscam.srvid2 file and let it repopulate with channels I tuned to.
    And API for evtended CW's set to OE2.2. Set to anything else didn't decode channels.

    MOHAMED_OS 2.25.01-11868-802Is that a blanket statement? Or is there backing for it? Newer versions Like Levi and Audi, etc. just have too much "cake decoration" on the main screen.Let me try a few suggestions and get back. And thanks!

    It is not necessary to use the latest versions of oscam 11xxx (changes only for cards), it is sufficient to use the latest emu 802.

    Before I start editing and cleaning up my configs. I hope you could clarify some things.
    By the way. I cleared the oscam.dvbapi file out and now the channels that displayed as biss are now showing as pv, caid:0E00.
    Altitide 1 & 2 opened immediately after a restart of oscam.

    Eno. In the code section of your oscam.dvbapi where you show caid:0E00 and caid:0101. Should not a line for biss with 2600 be there also?
    As mentioned. Mine is currently blank except for a commented title screen that Mohammed set.
    Should I go ahead and enter the caid lines?

    For your oscam.server example. I do notnneed any of the card or cccam, etc. readers.
    I only need an emulator that can read every non-card or Internet required protocol.
    Although I do have a Mohammed reader for his updated Internet keys.
    Are the other readers necessary for anything in oscam to work properly using the softcam.keys file?

    For the oscam.user sample. Could you explain in clear terms why I would need the [account] entries?

    Why are powervu and biss and tandberg missing from the readers section? What am I missing?
    Are there other emulators that oscam has that may be unlisted? Cardless with no Internet connection requirements?
    In other words. Is there a hidden section that lists the emulator capabilities?
    Links to Streamboard, etc. "explain" the configurations but don't actually give you a guided tour with "explanations". For me anyway. I'm kind of "thick" I guess.

    It is not necessary. BISS always has only CAID-2600 in PMT. However, PV or Director may also contain other CAIDs in PMT.

    Because real BISS or PV cards are not available. Since it is not possible to insert such cards, there is no reader for them.

    StreamRelay uses external TS processing if the current driver does not support it. For example, the first attempts with PV were only as StreamRelay.

    I've edited the files and a lot of the previously shown 2600 (live log) channels are now correct. I had thought that encryption changed.


    No matter where I look, the explanation in clear terms and the mechanics of reader and server at the very least are super weak.

    No idea why newer versions of oscamm-emu changed the configs so much.

    So. Are 0E00, 2600. 1010 the only cardless encrypptions that the emu can process?


    In many oscam.dvbapi files I see that 2600 is in fact included . And the newer versions of biss, pv+.

    I understand that not much has been done to clear them. Then also there is a lot of other encrytions listed with tons of included nemerics.

    Very hard to understand.
