Has anybody managed to get any usb dvb tuners to work with this receiver? i've tried 5 different images and both the play tv tuner and the xbox dvb tuner and even though the box installs the drivers and the tuner shows up i can't scan any channels.

Did you ever resolve this? My xbox one usb dvb-t2 tuner works on my Octagon SF8008 and scans channels. But it doesn't scan any channels on my Gigablue UHD UE 4K.

Have you installed the drivers and firmware for the Xbox tuner?? look for the dib0700 drivers and firmware in the feeds

USB tuners do not find channels on the Gigablue 4K receivers. If you transfer a channel list, they wont tune. I believe there was a workaround by Sundtek for their tuners.

Same issue here, I've tried some cheap generic USB dongles that kept crashing my Gigablue X3 4K so I went out and bought the Xbox tv tuners, assuming all I had to do was install the USB and Tuner drivers from plugins. I'm getting the same error, the tuners are picked up but no channels are being found, It's definitely picking up a signal as the lock box has a check beside it bit the SNR and AGC aren't showing anything. Any ideas?

I gave up trying. gigablue told me usb tuners aren't supported and to buy their internal tuner if I wanted dtt.
Looks like they have not improved much since i last used them about 3 years ago, the driver support was terrible then too.
Gigablue is literally the last box i would ever recommend to anyone.

jenseneverest , I am quite happy with my gigablue uhd quad 4k but as you mentioned drivers support does not seem the greatest, I also thought I was buying their flagship box but I did not realise it had been out for a few years. And even asked on gigablue forums why is it called quad when it only has duel proccessor I recieved no answer

At the time vermin cable was still a thing.....but there cable tuner never worked correctly, there was also issues with timeshift and a lot of media codecs didn't work. Im pretty sure it was this box:

In the end i went the VU route replacing the giga with a duo4k - it was more money but more things worked.....
BTW ..... VU are not the best at drivers either.....

Hello, did one of you succeed in trying to tune DBT2 channels on a Gigablue Quad UHD 4K? Their built in tuner is out of stock, I've mailed Tuncay that is the owner of the brand I guess but he is very rude in his response. It's out of stock, help yourself! I'm searching for a usb tuner to get DBT channels... Gigablue is a piece of shit.
