all channels are fine apart from bbc1 and 2. Just freeze after a few seconds. What can it be? Is this happen to anyone else on this image?
Using XE plugin could this be the issue?
Has to be image or box related as i run my sub on a android app and no such issue.

i think i have solved it. It was due to serviceapp. I changed the enigma2 playback from original to serviceapp and player to exteplayer3. Now the channels dont freeze.
Does anyone know the best setting for serviceapp? There is another player gstplayer aswell.

You can switch HLS Explorer (HTTP Live Streaming) on and off at ServiceApp. HLS= True= Better quality

when I install serviceapp that is all I do i never change settings in it i leave them as default.

I get similar on odd channels that stop after a few seconds I'm not sure why. As urie said I just install service app and leave settings default then set stream types on IPTV to 5002 and it's fine.
This is a bit of a pain though as vix you can you can set Recordings to convert service types to 1. If you record one of these channels it will just freeze.

Oh ok is that for openatv 7.3 python 3.12 ?
The latest version 6.2.0u works with openATV 7.3 and current Python3
The plugin doesn't support multi-languages officially...

You add something to the field, but you shouldn't need it anyway, like I said, and run the risk of doing double restarts (at least on zap). It's a hack, as its name implies, and the external stuff I probably should have removed or at least rename as a hack as well.

I have the latest version (6.2.0u) and it works great at the default settings. I noticed that if I set the restart delay to anything other than 0 then the plugin never restarts anything. It doesn't matter to me, I just leave it as 0, I am just mentioning it.

That's interesting, thanks for the note. Maybe grab a debug log or several with the various settings and when a channel is restarting? Beware that the debug log contains URLs and authentication credentials, so probably best if not published (but if you do get it, I'd like to see it privately to try and understand what's going on).

There has been so much written about this that I am now confused.
I want to use streamtype IPTV 4097 (because it lets me record IPTV when I set a timer in Xstreamity 4.38.
What I want to know is -should I or should I not enable service app? If so should I set it for gstplayer or exteplayer3?
I've included a screeshot of quarterpounder with my settings. I remember seeing somewhere that the external tab should not be changed from the default setting of 5002 in any case. Is this correct?

what version of quarter pounder are you trying to install mines is 6.2.0u
