  • Hi all, to the creator of this brilliant plugin and for those who provided all the support on this thread, thank you. I got version 10.8.4 working on a VU Plus Solo 2. No luck with EPG, I put that down to the supplier not making it available from the source (I think) , but all the channels and categories are available. This Forum has been very helpful.

    Regards,

  • Hello, a few days ago, I suggested creating an additional program for AJPanel, a secondary version that can be installed separately from the original version, because the plugin is widely used in the IPTV feature.

Suggestions for creating a simple secondary version

    1-iptv

    2-Bouquet editor

    3-backup& restore

This version will be error free and hassle free in running iptv and can be fixed.

  • The plugin is small size and very light, suitable for all devices and processors.

There are shortcuts and keys that provide functions separately.

The easier way could be 20 separate add-ons, each with specific limited functions.

The longer and more difficult way is to provide everything in one place, but it is more comprehensive for fulfilling the purpose.

The plugin includes many services and functions, and its main purpose is to meet most user needs through a single comprehensive tool.

  • On my PULSe 4K with OpenATV 7.5.1 on AJ Panel header there is 10.8.3 (10.8.4 Available) is shown even after an update to 10,8,4. I tried to update from AJ Panel itself, then I removed manually and installed again the ipk file, but the situation is same.

  • I've added IPTV channels to bouquets and I want to assign EPGs to the channels in the bouquets. This is what I mean by your application.

Easy way are by changing iptv reference to match real channels

The "Share Reference with Satellite/C/T Channel" option has been added to change a single IPTV reference to an existing channel (to share the PIcon and EPG).

This feature allows you to share any IPTV channel with satellite channel data and PIcons .

By selecting a channel from the local IPTV live list, provided there is a similar channel on the satellite with PIcon and information, then selecting the same channel name from the yellow button, then "Share."

Then, go to the satellite channel and select it, as shown in the image.

Another option has been added to share references from a group of channels.

    - This works by entering channels, but in this case, it doesn't give you a choice of channel type. It asks you for the source channel (DVB) first, then the IPTV channel (which you want to change).

When you change the reference (the yellow button), you'll find the IPTV channels with an EPG and icons (according to their presence in the source). The EPG for the channels will automatically update according to the change in the DVB channel, and it will remain permanent.

    - This is the same as the previous option, but it's specific to IPTV channels only. The new option doesn't copy data, but rather links the Share channel.

In this case, the names in the table don't have to match, meaning you can link the MBC channel data to any IPTV channel unrelated to MBC.

Linking is the user's responsibility, and they can do it however they want.

as you have the ability to add IPTV channel data to the device without the need for pairing (of course, the data must be available from the service provider).

This feature works with M3U server channels and portals.

The first method (updating data for a full package):

By selecting an IPTV channel in the device's packages, then logging into the panel, then IPTV, and selecting:

(Update Current Bouquet EPG from IPTV Server)

    Thank you, it worked

  • Hello, how do we upload EPG to IPTV channel?

do you mean how share epg

    ShareEPG.jpg

    Hello!

I have an IPTV Portal with UK Sports channels and more version of them: UHD (if exist), FHD 5.1, FHD, HD , SD

Portals have only 4 programs in there list, so I would like to share an EPG from DVB channel updated by EPG Import. I tried the method mentioned in quoted post, but it so slow to complete all channels. I use Vhannibal motor settings where channel names are absolutely different from IPTV channel (for example Sky Sports News is SkySp' News or something like this). Is there any easier and faster way to have good EPG on this channels, not only now and 3 next?

  • Hi, I have a "problem".... with Zgemma H7 + Openpli 9.1, it doesn't show me the option to convert .jpg to .mvi.... same Zgemma with egami & openatv yes..... even with sf8008 (and Openpli 9.1) there are no problems converting.

Why does Openpli / Zgemma only give me the option to convert to base64 string and not also convert to .mvi??

Thanks again for your fantastic work!!!

    ......,....

Edit, I solved it... I uninstalled and reinstalled AjPanel and everything is as it should be!!!

    Thanks anyway

  • I want to add some more prefixes to remove, so the channel names become standard again when I create a new bouquet, or add channels to an existing bouquet. Where can I add that so all unnecessary junk disappears?

    ajpanel 1.jpg

Or maybe a name swap option is possible in the future?

(This option was in the KiddaC plugin jedimaker (Rytec UK), but that program is now EOL.

Unfortunately, this option is no longer included in his new BMX)

For example, in my channel list:

    My provider: |NL| SBS6 4K+ rec

My wish: SBS6, or SBS6 HD

    My provider: |NL| SBS9 HD raw1080p

    My wish: SBS9 HD

My provider: |BE| VTM 2 hevc

My wish: VTM 2, or VTM 2 HD

My provider: |NL| ZIGGO SPORT UHD2160p

    My wish: ZIGGO SPORT UHD

  • According to the AJPanel instructions, the prefixes should disappear when the option "Remove IPTV Channel Name Prefix" is enabled.

Apparently, it doesn't work, and I personally had never used (enabled) it before. I just noticed it now.

If you want to create a bouquet without a prefix, use this trick:

    - Open the channel list and press the Yellow button (Options).

    - Choose "Add ALL to Existing/New Bouquet...".

    - Press the Yellow button (Create New).

    - Enter the name without a prefix/suffix or give it any name you like. The channels will appear in this bouquet. You can also add them to an existing bouquet.

  • ►► from version v4.1.0 .. 2022-02-17 developer add the function as followed

    • The option "Remove IPTV Channel Name Prefix

    EX_

    (|EN| , |AR|Drama|)" .

    ►►on version v5.5.0 .. 2022-06-26

    • Improved filtering of IPTV channel name prefixes to include more patterns.

    ►►on version v6.0.0 .. 2022-08-01

    • Improved filtering of IPTV channel name prefixes to include more patterns.

►►last modification and improved for that feature at version v8.6.0 .. 2023-02-26

    • You can add your custom IPTV prefix words to remove from IPTV tables. ..
    • This works along with the settings option "Remove IPTV Channel Name Prefix (|EN| , |AR|Drama|)". ..
    • Example: Adding the word "Sport | En:" will remove it from all IPTV channel names in the tables. ..

    How: ...

    • 1- Create the file "ajpanel_iptv_prefix" in the panel's backup directory. ...
    • 2- Start adding the prefixes you need to remove (each in a separate line and is case-insensitive).

It can be enabled or disabled in the settings under the option:

    "Remove IPTV Channel Name Prefix...".

  • I did yesterday exactly what you describe — before posting my message — but unfortunately nothing happened.

I added some prefixes I wanted to hide to the ajpanel_iptv_prefix file, but nothing changed.

I will try once more now to be sure.
