  • My code probably doesn't upsize picons. As they will just end up blurry. But there is a size option in settings so it can downsize large picons to the correct size.
Your provider picons will just be small in the first place.

How can I do a screenshot with webif?

then use windows snipping tool - copy the section you want to screen grab. Paste it into your post

Dont just right click and copy the image, as that copies your local image address.

And if you never used openwebif.
Set a password in setup > system > network > password settings. (reboot)
Get your IP address from information / network pages.

Paste that IP address into a computer browser that is on the same internet connection.

  • Sure I did.

But as you see in attached picture in this post if I download as XPicons 220×132 the the picon is bigger just pixelated. In my previous post on Skysports news picon was downloaded as Zzz 400x240. Thats why I mentioned in my first post regarding this that I'm not sure is it BMX, skin or setver. If it is server and there is nothing to it's okay

  • I will clarify what is going on as you are doing my head in.
This skin was built many years before IPTV was a big thing. We all used to use Clines and use proper picon sets, not some crappy picons in iptv that are mainly designed for android iptv apps.

You have changed the skin to look for large ZZZ picons.
    It is expecting 400 x 240 picons.

If you download 220x132 picons this is the final size that BMX will create the picon.
If your provider picon is smaller it will paste this small picon onto a 220 x 132 blank canvas.
As you have set the skin to show 400 x 240 picons - its going to upscale the picon to fit. Hence the upscale jaggies.

If you download 400 x 240 picons this is the final size that BMX will create the picon.
If your provider picon is smaller it will paste this small picon onto a 400 x 240 blank canvas. Lots of space around the edges (maybe)
This will not upscale in the skins infobar. So if it was small to start with, it will be shown small.

  • My epiconizer plugin will download large 28.2e bskyb picons.
Then you can use either copy/rename them to match your iptv SNP or SRP names.
Or you can use the paid version of e-channelizer (windows program) to have easy control over picon assignment. But I don't promote e-channelizer now its near enough useless unless you pay for it.

  • Hi, for the past few days no series have been loading for me, only live streams and VOD. Is this happening to anyone else? And the automatic update isn't working either. I'm running BMX version 1.72.

I'm also having trouble installing "Series".

KiddaC has been unable to find a solution to this problem for a long time.

    DMTWO DreamOS Experimental

  • Hi everyone,

I own an Octagon SF8008 4K Twin and I’m not very experienced, so please bear with me.

For many years I was running an older version of OpenATV (6.x). On that version I had the plugin JediMakerXtream installed, which I used to create additional channel lists (bouquets), independent from my normal satellite channels.

Now I flashed version 7.6 via the receiver’s interface and chose to keep my existing settings.

    Current situation:

Everything seems to be working fine

My additional channel lists are still there and working

But: I cannot find the JediMakerXtream plugin anywhere in 7.6

It does not appear under Extensions, and I can’t find it anywhere else in the menu. It looks like it is not installed anymore.

    My questions:

Are plugins generally not kept when upgrading to 7.6, even if you keep the settings?

Is JediMakerXtream possibly no longer available under 7.6?

If I reinstall it, will my existing additional channel lists remain intact?

Or is there an alternative solution under 7.6 for managing external/IPTV bouquets?

Everything is currently working, and I don’t want to mess anything up just to get the plugin back.

Thanks in advance for your help 🙂

  • You made a bad mistake by installing 7.6 and. Keeping 6 settings. You should have done a clean install from scratch. Il check my 7.6 tomorrow for you and see if Jedi is in the feeds. You are storing up trouble keeping that mishmash. Why not flash a clean version to another slot and Jedi is old hat now, no longer supported. Bouquet maker is very good

  • why is it a mistake? So far, beside the issue mentioned with jedimaker, i havent identified any other issues. Anything specific you are referring to which it should explicitely check? If i install bouqetmaker, Shall i first delete the still available bouqet previously created with jedi?
