I'm quite new to this so my config is likely wrong, although it is working. My earlier problem, which I had before but had forgotten about, was because I'd recently rebooted my dreambox. After a reboot or restart of oscam, it seems to have trouble viewing the cslink channels. I have to change channels a few times before it kicks into life. Once that's done, it's fine until the next reboot. Any idea what that could be? It sends the request to the card but gets a channel not subscribed message back.

this doenst help but im just curious as to why would you use lb (loadbalancing) settings on 2 totally different cards ?

I totally copied it off some website, and posted it to see if anyone could help me cut out the unnecessary, that which is one of them, ill remove it.

The config is/was working in my duo, i need to install it to double check, tomorrow.

And my config probably includes lb because I was trying to see if that would fix my problem. I mentioned in an earlier post that changing channel a few times fixes it until the next reboot but that was wrong, every time I want to start watching a cslink channel, I have to change to another channel first. It's then fine until I stop watching cslink channels for a while. It turned out to be a timeout issue in mythtv - the cslink channels can take about 20 seconds to clear so I increased the tuning timeout.

BTW Banny there's a typo in the cslink reader in your config... detect = noMe

Thanks I have commented the lb lines out for now and corrected the typo I did come across it yesterday, but hadn't corrected it in my main copy of my configs.

Ive also updated my configs on here. I have added an edition/version control log, for now just so, I can see where I am at and step back if I prune too much.

Off topic: Ive just gone for the basic package at the moment, if I wanted to add to that, are there any channels or bundles you would recommend?

Please could you also post the info you when you view oscam via your browser, I just want to be 100% certain, it is working correctly in my receiver.

I've only got the basic package too so I wouldn't know what to recommend. If you've only just got the card, I think you get 30 days of free access to most channels. Make sure you turn off the subscriptions because by default they subscribe you to all packages when you activate the card!

I'll post the web output later when I can - my mythtv box is using the tuner this afternoon to record non cslink channels.

For some reason, mine is saying the card has no entitlements -

This is what I am getting as I browse through the channels, im certain it was working before, ive spent more hours on this card than I want to even think about, and even when I get it working I still have no clue how to get it working as the latest oscam gives a segmentation error! -

I just noticed that in your version of oscam you have put 't8b' is that a modded version and if so is there any chance I could get a copy?

Long and impossible shot, if it is a modded copy dont suppose it has been compile for linux i386?

Yes, I'm using a modified version of oscam, downloaded from hXXp://www.ab-forum.info/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=21138&p=395911#p395911 (Google Translate is a lot of help!). I hope it's ok to post non working links to other forums. You'll need to register to get access to the downloads but I'm afraid there isn't one listed for i386. I configured this 6 months ago when these cards wouldn't work in a non modified oscam and stuck with it ever since. Maybe that has changed as I'm sure black_ship would have submitted the changes back.

You might find though that oscam is working and your entitlements have simply expired. Cslink only entitle the card for a short time (about 4 weeks).

My output definatley does not look like that and it never has done lol, thanks for all your help, although I exceeded registration attempts and will have to do it later, the spam bot question did no translate to good lol

I can't see an I386 version suppose I could ask, after getting it translated in good ofc and after I have registered.
