Hi got my server up and going the problem now is it seems to reboot itself 5 times a day how do I go about changing this so it will only reboot once a day I,m looking at a time say 4am each morning to reboot,ta

Hi ta for the reply but how do you get into the crontab file,what is the script to bring it up

if you are in windows you can use a program called putty to access your server.
or use filezilla and edit the file through the path /etc/cron.di use the putty method if im on windows !

today i changed the cronjob in my debian server
from the keyboard or ssh - putty
type these commandscd /etc
The above command will change directory to /etc
type
ls
this is list command to see files in that directory ¬
to look in a file type command below,
more crontab
now you can read the crontab _
if you want to edit type
nano crontab
After editing hold control key + o
Then enter key
Finally hold control key and xHave fun
