  • Hi,

    Total newbie so be gentle please :sun:

    I have followed http://linuxsat-support.com/li…-1-3-install-package.html and have got as far as setting up omnikey readers.

    I have typed in nano /etc/opensc/opensc.conf and removed hash tags as explained as

    reader_drivers = pcsc, ctapi;
    try_emulation_first = yes;
    lock_login = false;
    provider_library = /lib/libpcsclite.so.1

    I then type in after reboot opens-tool ?list-readers -1 and get invalid option -- `1` ??? according to tutorial is should say
    Readers known about:
    Nr. Driver Name
    0 pcsc Omnikey 1020

    When i log in to web interface it says readers 0/1 (i have to omnikey plugged in)

    0x272fb30 r 1 #mysmartcardreader ON OFF 127.0.0.1 0 mouse 0000:0000 no data 00:12:22 UNKNOWN (no entitlements)

    Do you know what I am doing wrong? how do I configure the configure section on the oscam 1.2o unstable web interface for sly uk and is there any other advice?

    As said, total newbie so any info would be much appreciated.

    Thanks

    The correct command to list your omnikey is

    Code
    opensc-tool -l

    Try that buddy.

  • Thanks but I am getting the same response

    opensc-tool : invalid option -- `1`
    Usage: opensc-tool [OPTIONS]
    Options:
    lists all different commands :-(

    That's a lower case L you need to type, not the number 1

    sent using my telepathic powers

  • Have you got this in oscam server
    [reader]
    label = ****K
    protocol = pcsc
    device = 0
    post your configs leaving out the ****** bits and it might help
    on some setups you don't even have to #out any thing (single reader setups)
    did you update/install pcsc "apt-get install opensc" ??? hope this helps annie.

  • I have my mate connecting and its coming on CCcam web info page as connected but has (nok) which i presume stands for not ok.

    Any suggestions? I must be so close. Shall I post any config files?

    Thanks

  • there also is a oscam.conf.bak....should that be there?

    oscam.server

    and oscam.user

    Code
    [account]
    user = cccam
    pwd = cccam
    monlevel = 0
    uniq = 0
    group = 1,2
    au = 1
    caid = 0963

    is there anything else?

    Thanks

    You can safely delete .bak files, they are duplicates..

    Make these changes then check oscam log for errors...

    Add this to [global] in oscam.conf, restart oscam then look in /var/log/oscam.log or connect to the webif status page and copy the info from there..

    Code
    logfile = /var/log/oscam.log

    Change oscam.server to this;

    Code
    [reader]
    label = slot1
    protocol = pcsc
    device = 0
    detect = cd
    blockemm-g = 1
    blockemm-unknown = 1
    emmcache = 1,3,2
    group = 1
    caid = 0963

    Do you have an N line in CCcam.cfg to connect oscam & CCcam ? If so show us that also buddy..

  • hi this is the log

    Really appreciated

    Thanks

  • sorted, mate gave me a card that did not have sports and he was trying to watch sports :snicker:

    Thanks to everyone. ECM times are saying 87ms is that good? @ what ECM time would you expect glitching and I have a 2nd card I would like to put in and load balance. How would I do that and what advantages will this give? In the meantime I'll do more reading to see if I can answer my own questions.

    Thanks

    Ecm times are great buddy. To benefit from oscams load balancing you really need to be using oscam only on the server side but tbh your current setup should be more than enough to satisfy any hobbyist so imo there is no need to change anything, just enjoy what you have now for a while.
