  • hey guys, i am running oscam only with cccam protocol server. my entitilements are due to expire soon, to update do i just edit the user account?

    i have a box in the bedroom, and i have noticed that i can set au to 1 and will then show as AU ON in the status of oscam webif (all other users say off)

    will that update my entitlements? i normally use my original reciever. but really wanna get the hang of the server doing the update for me.

  • These configs should sort it out buddy! (using a server with smargo reader) so just change/add what you need for your setup in oscam.server file

    oscam.server file

    [reader]
    label = slyuk
    description = Reader
    protocol = smartreader
    device = 001:005
    pincode = ****
    smargopatch = 1
    caid = 0963
    detect = cd
    mhz = 600
    cardmhz = 600
    ident = 0963:000000
    group = 1
    emmcache = 1,3,2
    blockemm-unknown = 1
    blockemm-g = 1
    saveemm-u = 1
    saveemm-s = 1

    oscam.user file

    [account]
    user = update
    pwd = ents
    description = Update Entitlements
    group = 1
    au = slyuk
    caid = 0963
    cccignorereshare = 0
    keepalive = 1

    Ensure au for .server file and au for user account are the same (same format) e.g slyuk for both in this example

    Been using for a year now no problems!

  • CCcam protocol seems to be better at updating than newcamd. You should get the entitlements if you either set au = 1 or au = {label of card in oscam.server} in your account.

    I would suggest to leave it on overnight on a channel that your card decrypts, such as sly 1 - the updates are unpredictable and you need to be patient. If you are not patient then you would get less stress leaving it in a sly box for a couple of days.

    If I take a while to respond, you can see why.....

  • Hi Guys
    I need help, I have had entitlements run out and am now on a different card. I am afraid if this one does not update either.
    I have read and ,think I have followed directions for updating, but obviously doing somrthing wrong, any help is a great help.
    My setup is Oscam Version: 1.20-unstable_svn Rev. 7149
    My configs are

    Oscam server

    [reader]
    label = ***1
    description = ***1
    protocol = smartreader
    device = 001:006
    smargopatch = 1
    caid = 0963
    detect = cd
    mhz = 600
    cardmhz = 600
    ident = 0963:000000
    group = 1
    emmcache = 1,3,2
    blockemm-unknown = 1
    blockemm-g = 1
    saveemm-u = 1
    saveemm-s = 1
    lb_weight = 101

    Oscam User

    [account]
    user = a
    pwd = b
    description = Update Entitlements
    group = 1,2
    au = ***1
    caid = 0963
    cccignorereshare = 0
    keepalive = 1

    Oscam config

    [global]
    logfile = stdout
    nice = -1
    preferlocalcards = 1
    lb_mode = 1
    lb_max_ecmcount = 300
    lb_savepath =

    [monitor]
    hideclient_to = 15
    appendchaninfo = 0

    [newcamd]
    port = 13000@0963:000000
    key = 0102030405060708091011121314
    keepalive = 1

    [cccam]
    port = 13001
    reshare = 1
    forward_origin_card = 1
    version = 2.1.3
    stealth = 1
    nodeid = 5635695710E71476

    [webif]
    httpport = 8888
    httpuser = *****
    httppwd = *****
    httprefresh = 15
    httpallowed = 192.168.0.0-192.168.254.254

    Is this right?
    Also is there any way you can check if entitlement updates are working, before they actually run out?
    If I add bt sport to service, will entitlements show update right away? or if updating is not configured right, do I lose that update and have to ring bt again, or will it update by itself if my configs are rectified?
    Cheers

  • I do have also a problem with updating sky entitlements
    your posted cofigs are for one local box used as server and user - Is that correct
