Just tried DCC 2.2 and no go Benkurd, any earlier version than that??

Type the IP of the box into Internet Explorer to see WebControl. However as you can't change any settings, you may have to find an image that has it enabled by default as I think it can be disabled.
There's apps that do the same thing, but if you cant get it working in IE, then you wont get an app working.Also, your DCC problem, have you considered that the password in the image you have installed could be different?
Try another image. -
ok ddaddy, i can deffo get the wbcontrol interface up as that is how i flashed the last image. Do i have to flash the secondstage bootloader after every image flash?
do you recommend any images in particular ?

Sorry for the confusion, it's a different web interface.
When enigma is running there is a web interface that lists your channels and lets you change channels etc..
It even has a remote control on it. -

I don't believe so this is usually the last step in the box setup before you get the your stb is ready to use message. It would work if he can flash a backup which was made with dhcp enabled.

Having read your post Ten Below, it gave me an idea. could you send me a backup of your dhcp enabled image at all please? I dont know if i can just download one that is pre-enabled.
Hope you dont mind me asking. Just seems like one of my only (dwindling) options. -
I don't have a dm800 anymore so cannot help there mate, also from the pic you posted your sim is definatley not sim201 so i would stick with the pli image i linked to earlier in this thread.
Hopefully another member will be able to help with a backup. -
Just buy the latest SIM.

Hi again peeps......
This saga seems to go on and on......now the box's oled screen doesn't appear to be working and i worried the box has died.
I cannot ping the box from a command prompt, dreamup or even get NCF to flash the bootloader.
Its like the box is no longer running. When i put the power cable in, the little red standby light flashes for a fraction of a second and the fan spins up as usual but nothing then.....Is this this box dead? -
you did say the box worked with 72 try to flash other image 72
