    Well this is what happens when more and more kids take over the sat scene ... i'm getting too old for this ...the only way you can verify if someone is scamming you is by checken massive ecm's and if your LOCAL(s) show up in his server cards. Read below and weap :

    -----------------------------------------------------------------
    I found a big problem for us honest CCcam user.

    It is very easy to steal cards from a CCcam-server with OScam.

    OScam has a option named cccam reader.
    With that option you can use a C: line as a cardreader.

    For example:
    My peer has Sky Germany as a local card in his CCcam-server and gives me a C: line, then i can use this C: line to connect via OScam to his server.
    Code:

    [reader]
    label = CCcam_Server
    protocol = cccam
    device = ddns,port
    account = username,password
    group = 1
    caid = 1702
    cccversion = ********.11
    cccbuild = 2892
    cccmaxhop = 1

    Code:

    [newcamd]
    Key = 0102030405060708091011121314
    Port = 10000@1702:000000

    Now i have made the C: line to a N: line and my peer didn't notice anything. I'm connected as a CCcam client for him.

    I can use this N: line now to fake me a own local card with a CCcam version smaler then 2.1.4 with the 256 N: line trick.

    Even if my peer gives me no reshare for his card, i can share his card 7 hops down if i want.

    so this is why you see people with 10 LOCALS , they have actually NONE, but are using the oscam logins to YOUR locals.

    What sort of number would constitute a "massive" amount of ecms? I've often wondered at what point moderate usage becomes high usage becomes taking the piss.

    Good question.
    First you need to see how many peers you have and how many hop1 they have.
    Then you need to see what kind of card you have, if you are like me (Over 300 hop1) and have a Sky uk card then ecm will be in the millions after a few days, as I reshare my local and hop1.
    If your peer is red it does not necessarily means that they are over using it.
    Example : My dreambox in the living room is only connected to my server. If I spend just 15 minutes going through the providers, as I have a motorized dish, ecm count will go over 1 million, and thats just in 15 minutes.

    So I wouldnt read too much into it

  • mate...when you have like 300 lines with reshare and a really quick server........you will be in hell...lol

    have a look....and that's only since the last reboot....lol

    My skycard gets sucked dry

    ?why is there no local ecms showing on yours??? just curious...

  • I can't honestly see how you even need 50 client's, if you have decent client's i don't think you even need half that figure.

  • so many peers?
    well, I like to flick through all the channels available, im also a footy fan, I live in England but i am Portuguese, therefore i follow the UK, Spain, Portugal, Italian etc teams.
    Also this is "Cardsharing".....all the cards i receive I also share with my peers.
    no local emm cause the card is on a server with an omnikey reader.
    if I allow emms then the card gets flooded
    Cards is updated on the digibox

    I have that that amount of peers and i can flick through all the channels all the footy i want and more, and i share them all to, still don't see why the need for so many, i mean how many of the same card does someone need!!

    I?m Irish ,livin ?n lovin in spain , have more than I need in the way of vision , but each card is needed to keep my neccessary peers happy ( I hope)

    I have limited my server down to 37 platforms,,considering that not all cards are "FULL" ,,one package or another...therefore between my peers I get what I need..

  • can this be restricted or stopped?? what would be a reasonable ecm number for connected client?
