Im afraid its not that simple m8, unless someone publicly releases a crack for vide0guard which would be pointless as it would be upgraded overnight.
Its not the hardware specification of current box's that's the problem here, its the new encryption & processing of the CW.

This is kind of irrelevant to this discussion but in reply to SWEENEY's comment

Out of 420 or so Encrypted SIDs on the Sly Platform, only 90 are broadcasting in HD. (These numbers include variants of the same Channel)

Out of the 330 SIDs broadcasting in SD minus (37 Box Office & 28 Sports Active) = 265, there are 201 unique Channels.

Out of those 201 Unique Channels There are 140 that have no HD versions
Of those 140, 47 are +1 channels that could be switched to HD overnight (Assuming enough Bandwidth on Astra 28.2)
That leaves 93 Encrypted Channels that have no HD Alternative..

That looks like years of work to my untrained eye.. I cant see Sly Broadcasting HD only in the next 5 years..

If using oscam, try going to Config / Loadbalancer in Webif

Then click, "Clear Stats", "Clear Timeouts" & "Clear Not Founds"..

Restart Client User & try the channel again.
If that works, you will have to setup a whitelist with oscam.services file..

Yep BT all ok here.

On another note, I think it would be in BT's interest not to go with the new HD encryption if they have a choice (and I am sure they do).
BT card's would be in high demand if people are able to use them in 3rd party box's & that would hit Sly even harder than at present.
And lets face it, BT biggest objective is to take a nice juicy slice of Sly's cake & eat it..
This avoidance of Vide0guardHD might even be used as a tactic for BT, only time will tell..

Use WinSCP built in editor or notepad++ Do not use windows notepad or edit the text in any way..

Then change this line in /etc/crontab

*/5 * * * * root /var/script/oscam-checker.sh >/dev/null

to this

*/[COLOR='#FF0000']13[/COLOR] * * * * root /var/script/oscam-checker.sh >/dev/null

(Changing the check script to run every 13 mins will dramatically reduce the chances of the check script running at the instant oscam starts up after reboot)

After all this, your oscam check log will be:
/var/oscamlog/oscam-check.log

you can delete the old one:
/var/oscamlog/oscam.check

You do have an oscam-checker & its running every 5 minutes according to your crontab

Its located here:
/var/script/oscam-checker.sh

Please post it's contents as there were a few versions of that script in the auto installs..

If you are refering to the result of the process check I gave you

ps x |grep -v grep |grep -c "oscam"

It is normal to have 2, so 4 means that you have 2 instances running..

Post oscam-checker.sh and wrap it in code..

Here is a script I made for oscam checker that also removes duplicate oscam instances, it works a treat for me..
BUT Before you change yours, post your oscam-checker.sh so I can see if I need to make any modifications..

Nobody in their right minds are going to put in all this hard work, long hours & expertise to go public with a workaround/patch on Day Zero..
(Not even half the HD Channels are gone yet)
If there was a solution to this issue, I would not expect to hear a whisper of it for at least 6 months.
if word did get out, they would be jeopardising everything they had done..

Correct, I had a quick scan & it came up as SS4 & cleared, never checked the actual Channel, just assumes Sly would have them named correctly :laugh:

I had a similar problem with newcamd protocol, from memory it was caused by multiple newcamd connections to same IP (My local IP). To be honest, I never sorted it out, I posted on streamboard & got no joy, I stopped it happening by stoping 1 newcamd reader & restarting & when I narrowed it down to newcamd protocol, I never used it again.. Sorry I cant be of more help but I cant find the ticket..

EDIT: I found ticket, there might be some info of some use to you in it..
My error did not come about in the exact same setup as you, I was testing different cams but the error looks the same, see 4th last post by Admin for solution..
