"Fix audio on BBC HD channels 27,5W"
Or just use Taapat's YouTube Plugin, which does work....
Definitely in other STBs I have... ;)
"How to" is here: How to make your own API key for YouTube plugin! It works!!!
If one does exactly as I did - I guarantee it will work. So, no improvisations, shortcuts, "Oh, this doesn't look important, so never mind that" or "I don't have the time" or "Ahhh, I can't be bothered with that" and so on....
IF (and I repeat, IF) one does exactly as I did - it MUST work!
==================================================================
There is one thing, though, which I have not described in detail in my pdf (see here: [Plugin] VPN Manager ) because it would have been a bit too long, I thought. Maybe sometimes one can miss that and problems can be related to it.
So, let me rectify it here: anyone who knows anything about PurE2 and the tutorials I wrote knows about the difference between dynamic and permanent mounting of devices/partitions.
Have you mounted your devices properly, in a permanent manner (not dynamic mounting), so your mounted devices/partitions do not "accidentally" swap places after a reboot, in which case your OpenVPN folder will not be where the plugin is searching for it? You see, not every image has this ability/feature, like PurE2 does.
OpenPLi and all other images (including PurE2) have automounting, which is dynamic. It means that E2 by default, detects USB memory stick or HDD/SSD (SATA or via USB cable/port) or mSD devices and mounts them automatically.
However, as simple as that is (especially for spiritually lazy users), when you have a more complex/demanding setup (and the VPN is precisely that - "complicating things" to get them to be better, with more options working for you, one of the features being YOUR SAFETY!!!) - I recommend PERMANENT MOUNTING!!!
So, one needs to think about it for about 15-20 minutes, just once, to understand it and then put it to good use, to your advantage!!!
Read about it in detail here: Mounting devices/partitions in PurE2's Device Manager and which files to send where!
Here, I will only put this, right to the point (in PurE2):
How to kill Automounting
MENU > pManager > Device Manager > Mount Manager > blue button > yellow button (to switch Automount OFF) > Exit > do this for all devices/partitions that you want fixed (for the full procedure, including more details see the above link).
In other words: our pManager can mount your devices/partitions permanently, as you want them to be, which is something only our image does by design.
So, whenever you reboot your machine the devices/partitions will remain as you set them up, i.e. they would not have swapped their places, as can frequently happen with the dynamic mounting.

Apart from that....
-have you set VPN Manager's settings exactly as I have done and shown with an image/screenshot? Look here: [Plugin] VPN Manager
-have you sorted out your Network settings with Primary and Secondary DNS or "Nameservers" as described by me?
-put in the username and password into plugin.py (or via RCU) correctly?
Restart and it must work!
Since you have no arguments, critical evaluations, proper comparisons and just about any kind of independent and rational ideas of your own - but you just act tribally - I do not expect anything else from you, so run off....
Please, do not patronise me, thanx a bunch! I know these products can be compared, since they do the same job... Oh, just remembered: I did compare them, so it is possible... No, really, it is!:rasta2bigsmoke0gf1:
On second though, I'll advise you to take your own advice and READ WHAT I WROTE!!!
You will see actual arguments, somebody comparing things properly, putting time and some careful thought into it and so on. Nothing of the kind can be said for the other side.
Over and out!
Aaaahhhh, frequently it's an obvious thing like that.... ;)
Could you try the post no. 18 then?
Cheers!
Hmmm, not from where I sit... I see plenty of problems with your little "thesis", you know...
Here is one example: Zgemma had PowerVu working before and better than DMM...
And you know what - can you check for us if your new baby works now with PV on 4.8E, 0.8W and so on... (not 9E)?
Also, did they finally manage to fix Eurosport transponders?
Have you checked the lists of "fixes" with every new release?
I mean, you have your cake and eat it....
I am happy with mine...
If you wanna compare Vu and Zgemma H7 - please, be my guest. Start with Multi Streaming issues and onwards.... There's plenty of evidence on offer... Knock yourself out, pretty please.... You know, the same tuner but very different results...
"Style over substance" indeed!![]()
Lies?
What lies? Was Zgemma H7 obscured and you did not see it before you bought it? WTF?!? Who praised it for its plastic cover?!? I certainly did not, so you lost me completely.... Quote me just one sentence where I praised its "beauty", I challenge you!!!!![]()
So, tell you what: if one chooses one's wife for her beauty and her beauty alone - he is a rather poor, immature sod and deserves whatever comes to him later on when she "changes"...
Zgemma boxes were never sold on the basis of eye-candy but their capabilities as STBs. Unlike you, it would seem, I certainly do not buy 2,5 meters of books in a specific colour to suit the colour of my bookshelf, FFS!!!
So, you knew what you were buying when you were buying it. Both its capabilities and it appearance! That to me suggests quite clearly you are either working for Zgemma's rivals or you have no brains whatsoever... Either way, you are no one to be taken seriously!
But more to the point: we haven't heard one word of substance from you... So....:cool1:
P.S. Genius, complaining to me why somebody else's image is not working on Zgemma...
:rasta2bigsmoke0gf1:
:hello
Eye-watering price...
Or you are quite a "character"... Yeah, right, that's how you assess the quality of a box - where a coloured button is...
FCOL!!!
What kind of fingers have you got you can't get to the white button? Or you are having problems remembering where it is? I bet it's the latter....
Well, by your "logic" I should now say: which company are you working for, spreading BS about...?!?
These boxes are designed to be cheap as chips BUT RATHER CAPABLE!!!! One GB or RAM, Quad core processor and a lot more - these boxes can do many things at the same time and you got it for next to nothing!
As for H7S: it is working better than DMMs or Vus which cost a lot more. Now, if you are as "clever" as you seem to be, then you will be judging it by a LED at the front of the box. In which case I cringe.... "Good night America, wherever you are...."
But don't let that stop you, you're on a roll, so keep entertaining us....
In that case anyone can reasonably conclude you are paid by DMM/Vu, boris...
What kind of "debate" is this, when you are not interested in rational arguments, you do not address anybody's arguments, you do not have any rational arguments of your own, you just come to accuse people who disagree with you?!?
I agree with you on this point: people like you should not post at all....
What possibilities? It's a f*&%ing closed project....
It's ridiculously expensive, as always....
Oych, some people....
I sent them a proper one, so they should put it up soon...
In the meantime, take my pdf and work precisely as described....
Post no. 13 here: PROTECT YOUR STB WITH SURFSHARK VPN SERVICE
Good luck!
So, after a while, I flashed my HiTube 4K Combo (the same as Izibox One 4K or Dinobot u55) with our latest PurE2 v. 6.5...
Guess what....?!? ALMOST EVERYTHING WORKS!!!! I had problems with HbbTV in this box but all the rest of FNC plugins are fine!
We made a huge progress with this box, when we started messing with it... It seems drivers are better now, too... :)
Is there is a big problem somehow with this (I mean, the procedure is PRECISE/COMPREHENSIVE!!!):
Flash your Zgemma H7x using RECOVERY and/or USB files ?!?
Brand new Recovery file will repartition your Flash AND install an image on the first partition:
zgemmah7-PurE2-6.5-20201013_recovery_emmc.zip
And then, later on, you can put in more "normal" images in the 3 empty partitions...
Alternatively, we have a 2 partitions only image:
A unique PurE2 image for Zgemma H7 with only 2 partitions!
Enjoy!
diyjeb - since you are already with this setup, could you do us a favour, please?
Could you try @tromo's suggestion in conjunction with mine and see if works, please? It would be useful to know, for all our American users, of all persuasions, Latin and all....
Secondly, if that doesn't work, could you put back the LNB that used to work and try the same thing with a new, complete XML file?
Thanx a bunch in advance!!!
If you wanna be a heavy duty puritan, go ahead, blow your brains out....
On the other hand, it's simple, if you are not of that persuasion....
Put in a proper XML, a complete one, TPs and all!
Scan normally.
Amen!
satellites.xml creator - if one doesn't have one's area already catered for!!!
Getting technical with C-Band - try this, I put in ALL the satellites....
Also, read through this and related threads: Best image for zgemma H9S
Good luck!
You really can't focus on the important stuff, can you?
Best both:
USB for picons, EPG and so on...
HDD for recording and timeshift (plus Kodi, if... ;) )...
