BT has been planning to double up the speeds of its fibre-to-the-cabinet (FTTC) service for some time now, and April was always the target date for that increase to kick off.
Right on schedule, the company has announced that it's to double the speed of the lines of its BT Infinity 2 subscribers, starting today. Currently, those FTTC connections run at up to 38Mbps, and that's being doubled up to 76Mbps in terms of downloads. Upload speeds are to be boosted to up to 19Mbps.
Those on the Infinity 1 package will find their upload speeds (and upload only) super-charge fivefold, with an increase to 9.5Mbps as a theoretical maximum (previously, it was up to 1.9Mbps).
John Petter, managing director at BT Consumer, said: "Super-fast broadband is helping people enjoy the internet far more than ever before. However, many providers have forgotten about the importance of fast upload speeds. BT believes that fast upstream speeds are vital given how people now use the internet and so we are distancing ourselves from the competition by providing the UK's fastest upload speed. "
The good news is that this is a free upgrade, so both new and existing customers who are upgraded won't pay a penny extra. There is a slight catch for existing Infinity subscribers, though, namely that they'll be required to take out a new contract. So there is a price to be paid in terms commitment, if not in actual pounds.
BT has "fibred up" 7 million premises across the UK now, with a target of 10 million by the end of the year, and two-thirds of the entire country by 2014.

Hi m8 download new channel list on yer usb then plug into usb slot and go to menu>tools>upgrade by usb ............should load new channel settings!!!

As the saying goes "you get what you pay for" if your used to enigma based boxes, well this box ain't !!! HDpic on it is ok, iv had no tuner issues, getting channel lists working is a pain in the arse, all channel lists, cfg and f/w are done through USB, for £55 what does anyone want lol

Have you updated your bootloader now?

Just put the bootloader on the pen drive and turn yer box off put yer pend drive in, switch box on, wait till green light flashes and yer done, dload new blackhole image and flash as normal m8 .

yes dload file and put it on pen drive it will update your bootloader and then you can add the latest blackhole image you after ;)
It only takes a couple of seconds for it to update and when done the green light will flash on the front of yer box!!! -

Some people find it easier m8 to use the ts panel. and yes anybody could source the info on the tspanel but why bark when you can get a dog ;)

Having watched this, it made me think, the whole empire he runs is bent as an arabs dagger, was most impressed with how the hacker smashed the encryption of c+, but that aside they are bang to rights after watching that programme, but no doubt he will worm his way out AGAIN and blame somebody else.
So convenient how the on dig key was just leaked onto the internet haaaaaaaaaaaa.................. bunch of lying greedy chunts!!!!!!!!!! -
A factory reset wont do it any harm as it will just as it says restore to factory settings, then update new F/W via your usb m8!!!!

Nothing to do with my lnb m8, as if i put my duo on the fixed 28.2 i get every channel, but i put this on i get some Hd channels that clear and some don't clear. I will be looking to try and make my own settings as i think this will be my answer lol
