I followed the guide for a red card. I was getting a picture for months but 2 days ago I stopped getting a picture on SD channels and ITV4 HD.
Is there a new config I need to use?
Do only SD channels work now when paired to an SD box?

How do I access the oscam log?
I have 2 slots. My card is in the top slot. Only the softcam I installed is running.
I followed the advice on this thread: Oscam Configs For SKY UK CAID 0960 Red Card
On my previous Vix image which was several months old I got a picture on SD Sky channels and ITV 4 HD for example. Now I've clean installed the latest Vix image of openvix 4.2.008 and I'm no longer getting a picture on those channels. I copied the 4 files onto my box along with my boxkey on:
oscam.user
oscam.conf
oscam.dvbapi
oscam.server
I also installed the enigma2-plugin-cams-oscam-svn10678-skyuk-0960_openvix_all.ipk and enabled autostart on oscam and restarted my box but no picture.
Hi, can anyone help please. I've been watching the BT Sport channels in HD with my red card on my VU+ Duo2 for the past few weeks. Today I'm not getting a picture on any of the BT HD channels. I put my card back in my Sky box and the BT Sport HD channels playback fine. I can still watch ITV4HD on the VU+ Duo2 as well as the BT Sport channels in SD so I don't think this is wrong config issue.
I've no idea what you just said!
that been said push your BT in RacingUK setanta ect ect ect to another card and use the multi room STB to split yer
subs :) this will give full SD safe in full HD safe if you set right configs like sid directs in sevices ;)
What do you mean by split your subscriptions?
Why does a white card work but only by card sharing?
I've now got all channels in SD and ITV4 in HD on my Duo2. I've paired my RED card to my Sky+ HD box and I can confirm that I don't get a picture on any channel on my Duo when using a white card in a Sky+ HD box. Thanks everyone for your help.
I was confused because in 2014 you could no longer get a picture on my VU+ Duo2 when the card was paired to my Thomson box that had component outputs. At the time I was told that the only way to watch Sky on my Duo2 was to pair my card to an SD box but then you can only get the channels in SD on your Duo2.
It seems since then a red card was issued which means you can do the same thing as before on an SD box but you can also watch ITV 2,3,4, Channel 5 and BT Sport channels in HD.
When did Sky start issuing the red cards?
I'm curious. Why does the more recent red card work but the older white card doesn't? I would have thought it would be the other way around.
You've answered your own question. You said everyone should be getting it but you're not getting it even though you should be!
I need to know for sure what card needs to be paired to what box before I phone Sky to start a multi-room subscription as you can't unpair a card unless you cancel the sub.
I'm getting all the ITV HD channels on my official Sky HD boxes but I can't get them on my VU+ Duo2.
OK thanks.
Is there anyone else who's still getting ITV 4 HD?
If so and you do NOT do card sharing, please let me know what colour of card you're using and is it paired to an SD or HD Sky box?
Will we be getting 4K via Satellite dish or via broadband?
Sorry forgot about that post. I didn't know what he was talking about. I've looked in /etc/tuxbox/config just now and I can't see a oscam.services file there. Is there supposed to be one?
HD pack is tied to a card as it comes from as an EMM from Sky..... let's say you have one HD box & one SD receiver that you are using for multiroom.... the card that is in the sd box multiroom receiver won't receive the HD pack emm as sky know that card is in a SD box.
But if you had for example a Sky+hd box as your main receiver and then a sky HD multiroom box then both cards would receive the HD pack emm....
I am getting ITV 4 HD on my duo2 as a share.....
OK but I wanted to double-check what you're saying. Are you saying I need to pair my RED card to my Sky HD box in order to get ITV 4 HD on my VU+ Duo2?
So we know it's possible to get ITV 4 HD via card sharing - what colour of card with what box has the card sharer host used?
HD pack isn't tied to any card. You pay a single monthly fee for HD and it works for all your HD boxes.
Obviously I can't get ITV4 on an SD box as the box won't let you watch HD channels because it's an SD box but I can watch ITV 4 HD on my HD Sky boxes. But I thought I can still take the SD box's card, put it in my VU+ Duo 2 and I could watch ITV 4 HD?
Yes I'm getting ITV 4 HD on my Sky HD boxes.
So I just want to double-check what you're saying. Are you saying I need to pair my RED card to my Sky HD box in order to get ITV 4 HD on my VU+ Duo2?
Also are any of you guys getting ITV 4 HD on your linux receiver or do you know of any people that are?
I seem to be getting different answers from different people. I need to know for sure because I can't pair a card to a new box without multi-room unsubscribing first.
So if I want to get ITV 2,3,4 HD and the BT Sport channels in HD what colour of card do I need paired to what box (SD or HD)? I know all other channels will be in SD but I know you can get those channels I mentioned in HD.
So far I've tried both a red and white card in an SD box and I can't get those channels in HD in my Vu+ Duo 2. I was also under the impression that you can't pair a card to a HD box anymore since they changed the software on the Thomson component model box.
I don't know what you mean.
Hi guys. It seems the config files didn't copy over correctly for some reason. I've fixed it now. I'm getting all SD channels but I'm not getting ITV4 HD. My card is paired to an SD box but I thought you could still get ITV4 HD. Is that correct? Or do I need to pair to a HD box?
I have the exact same problem again. I've PM'd you my log.
Hi guys. I've now paired my white card to my SD Sky box. Since it's a white card I've created a new post here:

Can you help there please.
