I notice dthe plugin author use the x64 version so I switched to it.
In 32bit the "satellite" entry not even showing in the playlist.

I've a 64bit system but for some reason VLC website only direct me to the 32bit version.
I've downloaded it from another domain instead.

    I get this message:

    Code
ts error libdvbpsi (PMT decoder): 'program_number' don't match

    a lot.
Seems to be the same thing related also to my bouquet streaming issue.
Plugin loads the bouquets but not streaming at the moment.

Currently I have installed both the 32bit and 64bit latest versions.

    v0.4.7 (OPENATV)

What is the vlc version that you're using? I'll try it.
Our m3u file is the same.

    Code

but even then it would probably drift.

Yes, I don't think it will work. The stream falls behind btw, so pausing and resuming will be pointless.
It would also be great for purposes like adding a bluetooth headphones for your tv.

One more question that pops to mind is that, can I auto update the stream to follow what is playing on the tv and so there will be no conflict?

I'm streaming a full bouquet so I can zap from vlc.
It seems it needs a line like this before every channel "#EXTVLCOPT:program=207" (what is the purpose of it, btw?)
Without it vlc is unable to open the stream.
The added data correspond to the setting "Add service name to stream information".
This data only included if I stream a single channel but not a bouquet.
As a result all the links in the bouquet aren't playable.

If it is a must to use this setting for vlc why is it even an option?
To what exactly correspond the program number 207?
It doesn't look like the channel number. How can I find this number easily?

It would be also be the expected behavior that when you choose a bouquet streaming to tell the tv tuner to get lost and free the resource.

One other thing, I would like to stream the audio only and that it would be in sync to what is playing at the box so I can view it from there, is that possible?
This is useful in situations when you don't have a speaker connected.

    Thank you for your help.

    picons path /media/usb/picons

I'm currently using high resolution picons but I'm pretty sure I also tested it with lower one 100x60.

I've complied it for Broadcom BCM4716 chip with static flag and with webif enabled.
It's running and I'm prompted for my password when trying to access the web interface, but after authinticating the interface won't load and it keeps "thinking".

    I used the "toolchain-mipsel_3.3.6_BRCM24" toolchain.

Any suggestion how to sort this out? I'll keep experimenting in the meantime.

Did I used the correct toolchain? It's v24 SP2 Mega build kernal 2.6.

    Thank you.

I would sure appriciate some help on this. It's realy important to me. :09:

I get the same error on debian aswell and also when trying to compile for ddwrt.
Trying to add to the path didn't do any good.

    Compiling for my machine works.

Are the instructions correct or is it just me?
    Am I missing some package?

    Using this:
    http://www.streamboard.tv/osca…crosscompiling#MIPSELPLI4

    Code
    svn checkout http://www.streamboard.tv/svn/oscam/trunk oscam-svn

Followed instructions to the letter, I get this error when compiling:

    File exist with permissions:

    Code
    [user@p35 oscam-svn]$ ls -l /opt/cross/mipsel-tuxbox-linux-gnu/bin/mipsel-tuxbox-linux-gnu-gcc
    -rwxr-xr-x. 2 user user 683496 Apr 26 00:09 /opt/cross/mipsel-tuxbox-linux-gnu/bin/mipsel-tuxbox-linux-gnu-gcc

Any ideas how to go past this hurdle?

I'm looking to buy an enigma stb, dvb-c, hdmi/rgb, internal card reader at about $60.

Do you have any box that match that descrption that come to mind?

I was looking at the dm500, dm518, dm528 but they didn't quite fit the bill.

I can cosider boxes up to $100.
DVB S/C tuner combo will be an add perk, but not strictly neccessary.

You can spcifiy any other box even if it deviates from my descritpion, if you think it's worth taking a look at.
The primary requierments is that it will be a dvb-c box with emu support and an internal cardreader.

I will appricate if you link me to a direct buying link which does international shipping. Thanks!

    Thanks for that.

    How much is "cheaper" exactly?
Can you quantifiy that, and maybe provide a link for purchase?

These are my candidates for now:
Omnikey Cardman® 3121 Plug Play Chipkartenleser Mit USB Anschluss | eBay
    http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-100-Original-USB-Smargo-Smartcard-Reader-Programmer-Plus-V2-/330941954774?pt=US_Satellite_TV_Receivers&hash=item4d0dad7ad6

I'm leaning towards the smargo as it's much more well known in my country, and I already know that the local cards in use are supported.
So the omney will probably have to be half the price at least for me to give it a try.
At the moment it doesn't look like this may be the case...

With the smargo v2 will I have a fix address for the device without flashing?
Anyone bought from that supplier and can recommend and vouch for its authenticity?

Yeah, didn't find much info either...

At the moment I only want to make sure, that if I do that nothing will go up in somke, and the equipment will remain operational.

I realy have no idea where to begin to check about voltages and the like, and even if I find information regerading that, It will probably be too much technical for me and I won't understand it properly/fully.

Is the dreambox use the same pci-e standard? Isn't a simple question enough?

Regreding drivers... I'll cross that brige when I get there. First thing first.

I'm actually not looking spcificaly to run the sunray tuner in there, and looking at this from an economical stand point, begin that I see there are an array of tuners to this market which are sold quite significally cheaper than those of the "PC market" equivalent. Can save me quite abit...

I'm very surprise there is not an higher interset in this, which can be quite beneficial to many people, and that it seems no one had already tried it beforehand.

Is the sunray driver open source, btw? If I have the source, can I just compile it to an x86 version?

    Sure, why not.

If it's a cute baby, I'll frame it and send it you. ;)

All the info is there, you adjust the command according to what you want to capture. If the results are not what you expect then you would need to contact Enigma2 developers with your concerns but for me i find it works well.

Fine. I'll tweak with it abit more, but I don't think I will see more improvement.

Can you at least link me to an example video screenshot you have taken?
