On my last box (Spiderbox) I could see the status of any of my connected servers (it would display server name; connected or disconnected; and the number or cards being provided). Is there anyway in BH of gathering similar information? Currently either channels open or don't and I cannot determine whether the server is connected or not.

I don't seem to have that option in Black Hole. If I set the tuner to Advanced on selecting individual satellites I only appear to have the option to delete the other satellites! What's worse on trying to exit from that screen enigma crashes and wipes out my epg - doin' my head in now. There must be some simple explanation why just one satellite is greyed out - with a simple fix . . . anyone?

I am new to this with my Solo2 - so please be gentle. I am using BH 2.0.2 with catseyes channel list. I have a motorised dish on Tuner A using USALS, and a fixed dish on Tuner B. Everything is working fine EXCEPT when I go to Astra 4A/SES 5 (4.8E) all of the channels are greyed out. Selecting one of them gives the message to check the tuner configuration. The top level tuner configuration is clearly OK. My only theory is that if I go through the satellite setup the Solo2 appears to believe that Astra 4A is on 4.9E. Is this the problem? and if so how do I fix it? But if it is not the problem - what is?

    Deleted folder usr/lib/enigma2/python/pliugins/extensions/ondemand
    Rebooted Solo2
telnet opkg update - got a load of verbage so assume ok
telnet opkg enigma2-plugin-extensions-ondemand - got a short message something like . . . in root is up todate. Not sure whether installed or stopped because it thought it was already installed.
    Rebooted Solo2
    Now cannot locate Ondemand plugin??

    HELP!

ps /usr/lib/enigma2/python/extension/ondemand has not been recreated

Thanks for the uninstall info. Now question is where to find the latest ipk install file for BH 2.0.2 enigma 2 (Vu+ Solo2). I see that there have been some recent updates to specific files (including the fourod file) but I cannot find a complete installer for the latest version. Is there one? and where can I download it? Many thanks.

I am using BH on my Solo2 with the BH EPG saving to HDD. Unfortunately one or two of my plugins are causing a system crash (I am trying to sort that) and when it does my egp.dat file gets deleted. Is this normal? What is causing this and can it be prevented? And finally would saving it onto a USB solve this?

    Hi,

I'm using Ten Belows back-up as my starting point, and have added just a couple of extras. I have let the software update itself twice - so I know that I am on BH 2.0.2 Rev E, and suspect that each of the plugins have also been updated to their latest versions. My problem is with the 4OD selection within the ondemand plugin. When selected I can search, get results with thumb nails, but when selecting any one I get a system error and reboot. Is there a fix for this, or have I gone astray somewhere?

Done that, but unfortunately it still doesn't open Diema (which can be useful for Saturday football). Will just have to park this for now. Thanks anyway.

CORRECTION. It does indeed work (once I had sent the correct keyfile to the box!!). Many thanks - onward and upward!

Still looking for help on this, as I have done some digging - but still not working. I have placed the file softcam.key in usr\keys, having edited the bulsat key to the latest, but Bulsat (Diema) still doesn't open. Never done this before on an enigma box - so suspect I need to do more than just put the keys where they are supposed to be. I am using Ten Belows backup which has oscam/cccam installed, and it works well in internet mode. What am I missing?

Please excuse the noob questtion. I have Ten Below's backup files with a few of my own additions, this uses oscam/cccam of which I am only using Cccam. My last sat box was a Spiderbox, so I am asking whether there is the equivalent of a softcam file, and how you would load/use it in enigma2? Thanks for any help.

I'm using Black Hole, no prior experience with Enigma, and took a couple of days to get something very workable. However, I made a giant step forward when I installed Ten Belows backup image. Most of what I wanted was already installed and configured, so I would definitely recommend that route. Good luck!

Sorry, yes I mean deepstandby. The EPG updates just after bedtime, so I use the deepstandby option to save power overnight. Ideally I would only want the autotimer to poll during the daytime when the box would either be on or in normal standby.

Now struggling to fine tune this. I have my EPG downloading in the early hours then doing a complete shutdown. That was working fine, I would come down in the morning to the box off and needing power-up. Since switching on autotimer poll (24 hours) the box is on (in standby) in the morning. So either the poll setting inhibits shutdown, or autotimer turns back on to poll (there appears no setting for poll time). There must be a setting I am missing. Any ideas?

I am using Ten Below's backup image as my base. I am also using the BH EPG (scheduled for daily refresh) with CoolEPG for display. I have also installed Autotimer (from the BH menu). Everything works fine, and it appears that Autotimer picks up from the current EPG (7 days). My question is how to I "schedule" autotimer to keep looking further ahead as the EPG is refreshed?
